First off I live in a house with 4 other guys (all college people). I wish we could kick him out but then that means we'd have to find someone to fulfill his end of the lease and we can't afford to cover an empty room. Maybe someone on here is a lawyer and can throw me a tip
Second--this guy is 340 pounds and I am a healthy 180 9% bodyfat and would easily whoop his ass. I made it very clear that if any **** like this happens again I would bring the hammer down HARD.
He gets the point and has locked himself in his room all night and all day, hopefully he is ok but I think I handled it the best way possible.

Yep, take a 5 gallon trashcan, fill it with water. Lean it against his door and knock and walk away.
Ask him if the pool is open when he opens the door and his room gets flooded.
It would be better if you were wearing goggles and your swimsuit with a towel when you did it.
I'm sure he switched the SIM card.I suppose at this point it would be foolish to point out that the OP might just have been able to dial his old iPhone number and see if it rang? Got the whole thing back and working pretty quick. Room mate sounds like a moron.
Have a house meeting and see where that goes...![]()

Who knows, he might start stealing your bear! AND THATS WORSE THE THE IPHONE!
With colleges theft on school property and a confirmed case can really mess things up for the one doing the stealing, like getting booted.
Even if the college doesn't boot people sometimes some of the degree programs have a strong code of ethics ... aka, would be bad for a law school student to get caught stealing on campus.
