I'm addicted to bands...I now have a classic buckle, Milanese loop and my black sport ships tomorrow(I got charged today and it's preparing for shipment now). I want different colors in the sport now. Do you guys have pics of a stainless steel 42mm in all sport band colors?

I agree, OP, got in a 3rd party Milanese loop and a SS link today in the mail today, love the looks...

Where did you purchase the 3rd party bands from?
I really want the leather loop but I just can't reason spending 150$ on it.
Would love to find something similar for a more reasonable price from a trusted site.

I was a Kickstarter backer of the Monowear bands. Did a 2fer and got both metal bands.

Yeah. When I can get my hands on a modern buckle for my 38, my collection will be balanced.

I'm pondering another sport band. I have white. Husband has black. I have blue coming tomorrow.

Son has classic. Husband has link.

My new Milanese (I returned one) is preparing for shipment.

I need a modern buckle. LOL.

I understand. That's what I'm saying.

EDIT: I see Esoom mentioned monowear above. My brother ordered the brown leather to go with his space gray 42mm. We'll see how it looks and how the quality is when it arrives!

I personally will get the black metal once my 42mm Space Gray gets here in June! And I'm curious how the leather will look, as I'd want a leather one too

Personally I'm not a fan of any of their inventory.
Looking for something simple & magnetic like apples black leather loop.
I'm sure in time they will be everywhere.

Are the band designs patented by Apple?

those monowear ones have the same design as the ones that come with the apple watch

and Apple has put together guidelines for creating bands for the Apple Watch. Take a look at Monowears website and Kickstarter campaign. We'll see what the quality is once they start shipping but at least they are another attractive option to choose from

Mine came with the Classic band, and I've added the Link and Milanese Loop bands.

I can't recommend the leather loop enough... Comfort as well as quality. I feel like this thing is going to last longer than many leather watch bands I've had previously... Obviously time will tell but something about it seems very tough, almost like its waterproofed.

OP, I agree - I have a black and white sport band on the way and the classic leather loop.
 
I have the space black link bracelet, and I have a black sport band that's processing. I'm considering the classic buckle and leather loop as well.

I'm right there with you.

Watch came with a black classic buckle.
Also have a black sport band.

On order still are a stainless link bracelet (1-2 more weeks) and medium size black leather loop (2-3 more weeks)

Plan on eventually getting a blue leather loop but I'll wait until I can pick them up in-store.
 
I think the Milanese loop is the most hideous thing to come out from Apple, but thats just my opinion. I think I mainly get that opinion from seeing guys wear it though *shudder*

Yeah I don't know what the fascination with it is. I think it's ugly. I think people buy it because it's the only metal band from Apple available at a remotely reasonable price. If the link band wasn't idiotically priced, it would cannibalize milanese loop sales. I got a 3rd party metal link band for $60 and have no regrets. Apple could take their overpriced bands and shove em.

This is one of the reasons I changed from the sport to the SS. I REALLY like the look of both the Milanese and the leather loop. Hell, the link bracelet also looks nice but not $500 nice. I wanted to have the option for these later, and I know SS and sapphire are better materials for the watch to last longer. I just dropped my darn iPhone and cracked it good, so it's making my decision look even better.
 
I think some of you guys think i have a space grey sport. lol j have a 42 mm SS Watch. I'll share pics of my current bands and when I receive my black sport band I'll post a picture of that on my SS Watch lol.
