I don't have a Milanese but I've been considering buying one. I'm just wondering why you think it doesn't look good?
Well I thought I was going to be addicted to bands, but I received my sport band a few days ago, and it is hands down my favorite. Now I want only those

My girlfriend wanted a pink sport band till she saw it in the store. I have to agree with her. The problem is that it isn't pink. It is really salmon colored. She wants a pink band but not a salmon one. You would have thought Apple would have gotten this one right. The pale pink modern buckle is a different story. I wish the pink was ever so slightly stronger in color but it is a gorgeous band. The watch was an early birthday present. Perhaps Christmas will be the pink modern buckle. She loves her Milanese and her daughter is most likely going to give her the blue sport band which she also likes.

A few days ago I decided to return my 38mm aluminum watch.
reasons
1) too small
2) i really wanted a leather strap that matched the aluminium body. Only the leather loop will do but it doesn't come in 38mm version.
so I decided to return it.
After seeing now the monowear bands, I have purchased a brown leader one with matte silver finish to go with my 38mm.
I don-t really care much about size, I just wanted the cheapest watch of all jus to try this first gen, and then decide whether to get a SS version 2..

I do like bands as well. I haven't purchased any as of yet, but once I get my watch I'm sure I'll get some others.
I've finally decided to settle down on 2 sport bands (white and black) and a leather loop this year.
At first I thought I would really like the Milanese, but putting it on just didn't give me the wow factor I was expecting, so I'll try to find another metal band somewhere down the road (maybe next year)

Apple's been doing an orange-cast pink ever since the iPhone 5c. I have seen that color more and more out and about (particularly women's sportswear). I don't know if it's a factor of Apple having its thumb on the pulse of the market, or steering the market, or both.
I actually kinda like it though, but I loved the iPod nano 5th generation era of saturated vibrant candy colors. Was not at all a fan of the nano 3rd gen palette. These things come and go, by next year they'll probably have shifted again.
I nabbed a blue band but I already placed orders for the white and black. I'm imagining the three will be a perfect rotation until I someone makes a nice rustic leather band available.
I bought might with a Black Sport Band but I have grown bored of it. Decided to swap it with a Classic buckle, and will possibly buy the White sport band. I'm considering pulling the trigger on a Hoco link band, but I think I might wait for official third party bands to pop up in the states...all of my watches are link bands so it's a must for me.
I think it's look very nice, especially on females but even for guys. Yes it's not as manly as other bands, but a true man does what he wants
My sport band finally shipped! Now, I'll have that one and the Milanese loop. I kind of want the modern buckle as well.
SS 42mm came with the Black sport band. I really liked the Classic buckle when I had my 38mm so i'm looking forward to that arriving in a week or two.
Then I'll be adding the Milanese loop, the Link bracelet is absolutely beautiful but my GF would KILL me if I bought that.
