I bought my SS with the BCB. Today I recieved my FIRST extra band, a Black Sport Band. I like the BCB but I think I like this BSB better! Darn it, I could have saved a $100! Lol

I have adapters coming too, the sky's the limit!

Pardon my rough looking hand, motorcycle accident #

I'm not entirely sold on investing in more then one or two bands. How many generations down the road before they change the way it connects to the watch? I reluctantly let my wife order both the white and pink sport bands but even those at $50 a pop are hard to justify.

I could see myself getting several new bands. At least the black sport band from Apple, or maybe a red if they come out with that. The rest are a bit too expensive beyond my Milanese Loop, but I'm pretty stoked to see what third parties come up with. The modern leather or whatever it was at the store felt a little plastic/cheap to me.

The Apple ones are too pricey. I'm sure I'll get several once the made for Apple Watch third party straps make it to market.

I have the classic buckle, the leather loop, and the sports band. The sports band fits the best, is the most comfortable, and the easiest to put on. I use that one day to day, then use the classic buckle when I'm going out. That one doesn't fit that great, is either too tight or too loose, and has been wearing out pretty quickly. The leather loop is terrible, I sent that back. Not easy to put on or take off. Also is either too tight or loose. As you wear it you feel and hear the magnets moving against each other. Doesn't look or feel like leather, and it's bulky and not very classy looking. $150 is a total ripoff for that. I'm waiting for decent 3rd party bands to start popping up before I buy any others, Apple is asking way too much for some of theirs.

I too am getting excited about collecting bands. I got a 42 SS w BSB and recently got a blue leather loop. I really love the look of it. It's chic, modern, distinctive and looks equally great with formal and informal wear. It's also one of the most comfortable bands I've ever worn... The leather is light, soft and supple; high quality stuff; middle of the road swiss brands would probably charge twice as much.

The only issue I have with it is the clickety clak noises from the slight shifting of the magnets. It's not obnoxious; it's just something you don't expect so it's a lot more noticeable when you first experience it. I even thought about returning it but decided to live with it awhile to see if I'd get used to it. Sure enough, it only took a few hours before I hardly even noticed. This will be my every day band and I'll use my sport band for working out.

Now, I'm eyeing the SS link band. While some people complain about the price, for the quality and innovation that went into that, I think it's a steal... especially when just a couple of SS links (not bands, just 2 links) can easily go for $50 for some decent mechanical watches... and you need tools to couple and decouple those... so archaic. :p

Got Milanese, medium brown leather loop AND bright blue leather loop on order. The milanese isn't due until July sometime so may cancel if I like the loops too much. I couldn't decide between the brown and blue loops so ordered both.

I haven't even received my watch yet........

The form factor of the watch can certainly change, but it seems that changing the band adapters can't really be done that easily unless they do it for the sake of doing it. The strap connectors can't get much thinner and I can't imagine it would get any narrower. It may get wider with a Watch+ version  .

I think that is the big difference between the Apple Watch and product like iphone and ipad. When those change form factor, you basically have no choice, but to change the cases and compatible accessories for them.

Having said that, yeah I probably gonna end up spending more than I would like on bands for the thing.

I bought might with a Black Sport Band but I have grown bored of it. Decided to swap it with a Classic buckle, and will possibly buy the White sport band. I'm considering pulling the trigger on a Hoco link band, but I think I might wait for official third party bands to pop up in the states...all of my watches are link bands so it's a must for me.

Those are the two bands I have (white sport and classic buckle). I think it gives me a lot of versatility. For example, today I have the white on and tomorrow with my suit I will have the classic buckle.
