My reason why i think the 3GS is better is that it has a much more solid feel to it. I dropped my iphone4 and it shattered. There is just something about the 3GS that gives you that " Good feeling". I cant explain it.
I expect Apple to move to a curved back design with the iPhone 6 (and a larger screen). The iPhone 4 looks good naked, but put it in a case and it's looks like nothing I'd want to put in my hand or pocket. With a case, it has as much ergonomics as a brick.

Then don't put it in a case, it's not supposed to be in one.

Not good enough reasons, you made a bad decision to go with an older and slower device.

So because you were clumsy and dropped the iPhone 4 and it shattered, you don't like the iPhone 4?

ok............

So do I, but whenever I pick up a 3GS in the store, it feels more natural in my hand than the 4.

Well, then don't hold it that way
:p

P.S. I can't understand this, but to each his own. I love my "bug-ridden" IP4.
Just never noticed the bugs, I guess

The GS is not THAT bad compared to the iP4...come oooonnn now.

Hell, I still have my 3GS (not going iP4...I'm happy enough with the 3GS). And yeah, before you ask, I've used an iP4.

And unfortunately, sometimes people drop their phones. None of these phones are really durable (even 3GS and below), but a 3GS is certainly more durable than a iP4. If what he's after is durability but still owning an iPhone, he made a good decision. Now he should buy a case!

I'm going farther than that, I'm thinking about downgrading to the original iPhone EDGE LOL
