I'm not getting iPhone X

If you need your own dedicated thread to announce your buying intention, you must be someone super famous, rich and powerful looks like Apple can't even sell these things to their target demographic - must be underwhelming and over priced

I just wanted people to know there was somebody out there who didn't like this. I will be getting the iPhone "8" though

And I know people are going to buy the iPhone X anyway. I already know this

Apple gave us a choice this time. They gave us some of their cutting edge tech in an old familiar form factor. And they gave us all they have ready, which actually looks good to a lot of people. It will no doubt be much improved by the next generation. Take your pick. Or find other options with Android.

There are always going to be compromises no matter where you look. I've been buying technology for 45 years, give or take. I have yet to see perfection. There's always something that needs refinement, always something to look forward to. It's actually pretty damn great.
