I’d love to see links to which YouTubers called it the holy grail of laptops, and if you could also point me to where Apple said this was an all-new design that would be helpful, because it sounds to me like you’re making things up to complain about.

Most of the Youtubers say it's an amazing laptop... for its price.
It starts at $999
It's literally the entry-level laptop from Apple.
But if you watch their videos... they also say they're still waiting for the 4-port Macbook Pro and the 16" model. And they're also waiting for the next redesign.
And you should have too.
But you kept that laptop... and then you bought another "garbage" laptop.

Most of us like the new air because its a PERFORMANCE upgrade. We know its not the best design by far and ppl who want that (myself included) are waiting till the end of the year. What I'm trying to joint out is that you bought a laptop sign unseen essentially that you hate but you also like it enough to keep it AND buy another one; can't have it both ways. Also if you compare it to other models of Mac you're bound to find a billion differences.

we have 5 small laptops for placing around the house and I didn't want to spend more than 1k for these laptops. I am changing all the chromebooks over to the macbook airs after I tried the 1st one and battery lasted a full day.
He saw the Apple event where it debuted, watched video reviews… and didn’t know about the bezels. My God… this guy is looking to get banned for trolling.

They are not even showing the same picture, how do you compare?Picture to compare bezel of both laptops and the brightness. This is my complaint about it. Before thread is deleted.
You can try not using dark mode if you want max brightness
If MacRumours wanted us to be able to delete threads they would have put a button for it.
