I literally hate the small model. Since november 2015 using the Plus model and for some reasons I have used the 6s small one for a two weeks and I hate it. I can barely grab it, is too small, too splippery. Screen is too small, I can't watch a movie or when I take a photo under the sunlight I can't see anything. Battery is more than awful. I can't grab it in my large pockets because is too small.

This year only for the bokeh effect itself the Plus is a must have.

I came from a 6 to a 7+.

Now the 6/7 looks so tiny, loooove the plus. Is not that big of a deal you'll get use to it in an hour

Agreed. I actually have both the 7 Plus and 4.7 iPhone 7, and the 4.7 feels like a 4 inch iPhone after using the Plus regularly. The Plus will definitely convert you once you can accept the shear size of it.

This may sound strange but how big are you?

I was worried about the plus being too large for the last two years so always ended up with the 4.7" variants. This year I figured I'd try it out and take advantage of that return period if it didn't work out.

I knew before I finished setting up the phone that I had made the right choice. I would have never guessed that the 4.7" could feel too small. I'm 5'10 with pretty average sized hands.

The physical size of you or your hands means absolutely nothing. I'm a big 6,2" bloke and I have tried 2 times with the Note 5, which is smaller then the iPhone Plus, now and it's size over my iPhone 6S and 7 bothers me.
Just so you know. For me a 5" iPhone with no borders in the same size as the iPhone 7 would be great.

That's your personal experience and opinion. That doesn't discount the fact that having bigger hands will make using a bigger phone easier.

i've had both and the plus model is more slippery to me. the screen size is fine, and anything other than watching something on youtube you need to go to a computer or use an iPad. you must be a big person then. how did you use a 5s or a 4s etc? and the sunlight thing affects all phone screens. battery is fine. and the bokeh effect is kind of a joke because its software based.

had both sizes and the se, i like the 4.7" screen better.

After some issues on my previous iPhone 7 I swapped to a 7 Plus. Beside I thought I would get annoyed by the size since it's definitively less pocketable... I'm finally happy with a better battery life (my main requirement against a smartphone). The extra features such as the Screen size with full HD, the 3 gig of ram and the dual camera lenses are the cherry on the cake :).

Thanks for all the replies. I ordered the 7 Plus Monday. Can't wait to get it!

I went the same way from a 5S to 7+ only had it a day but am loving it especially the size (thought that would be the biggest boon) . I'm pretty sure that you're not going to regret the move.
