On the line with Apple at the moment. I must say their webchat thing is pretty cool and the guy that I worked with typed fast and wasn't too stupid about it and described what to do rather easily. Waiting in line for a product specialist now.
Bummer. I fired it up in target mode and copied off my photos, just don't have enough disk space on an internal drive to back up my iTunes. guess i'll be buying that copy of iPodRip if I have to save things from my fully sync'd iPod.
To get all the songs off my fully synced ipod when i bought my new imac G5 i used a App called 'Senuti' which was really great (although did take about an hour) and copied everything over. Quite a stable app as well.
