The iPhone is overrated.

If it were 200$, then we could talk. I cant see myself spending that much money on a phone when I already have a current phone, and a curreny iPod.

I hope it flops.

Just because you feel the iPhone is overrated and don't want one doesn't mean you have to be selfish and hope that we all have a bad time with it...

Sounds good, personally I think the iMac is way overdue for a redesign and speed bump and I think the people who found this in the 10.4.10 update are just adding credability to already circulating rumors.

Bring on the new iMacs

I really hope that Four New iMac Models doesn't just mean 20" and 24" in both Black and White. I would prefer 17", 20", 24" and 27" in aluminum.

Geez, could someone explain the actual findings?

I understand that there are four new ID for displays, and three of them have iMac in the description... So how does this mean that there are new iMacs on their way, and not just an update to optimize already existing iMac displays?

Rich.

Optimizations for the existing iMac displays would just need a change in the current definitions, not brand new definitions with new ProductID's

These are either new iMacs or a new type of panels for the current line of iMacs.

[VENT]Jeezzz. I am so sick of all these iPhone stories. Just gotta make one post here to say I will be so glad when this whole iPhone CRAZE is over. Hopefully all things iPhone will die down by August. It's really driving me nuts.  :([/VENT]

With all this hype the iPhone will have a tough time living up to it's very high expectations.

Google is on its way to becoming the real evil empire....

One would think after the situation with Microsoft, people would be leery of another tech company with overwhelming market share.

Support Yahoo!, Live, Ask and all the other alternatives to Google - don't let the next tech monopoly form.

Too late. :(

AT&T is a known bad carrier. I use Verizon and they are known to be a good carrier. So no matter how cool it is, without a good carrier many people are not going to be interested. On the other hand, everyone is interested in new Macs. I guess I should just go away until I can see straight. :( [/VENT]

Huh. In my town Verizon is known to be a ridiculously expensive and outdated technology carrier. Service is just the same for either. Generally pretty solid coverage with either.

BTW: yahoo.com/food/ redirects to food.yahoo.com which is a file not found. So sorry but iPhone/Yahoo! myth disproven.

Errrr.... no. It redirects to the huge yahoo food site. No, I'm not joking check for yourselves.

However, http://www.yahoo.com/stick goes to a file not found without redirecting to stick.yahoo.com. Which does show that someone at Yahoo has created iphone.yahoo.com but there's nothing there yet.

Always wondered why MacRumors never added an "iPhone" tab, given that Apple Computers is now Apple Inc., it is only fitting to bring this site up-to-date.

This was we do not have members insulting one product over another, as some products or services are not available in certain countries.

Any ideas?

New iMac, cannot wait. iPhone news will only concern me if it were available in Canada.

I like your idea.

I wish Apple all the luck with their iPhone BUT IM a hell of a lot more interested in their
computer line up. And I don't mean a tiny wee bit phone! yeah I know it's a computer too, but not for my pooor eye sight or pocket book! I could afford this BUT IM not interested in a 2 to 3 thousand dollar total 2 year committment for a phone! :D

Apple dominates the music player market. Does this mean Apple is evil?

Could there be a iTunes update to support the iPhone-I found a screenshot of combined iPod or iPhone settings/library view in a recent Apple repair manual-that is not in iTunes 7.2.
