At least the thumb looks flat?

I luv Johnny's new thumb design! Go Johnny go.

why does Apple want to move away from the 3d like icons/images and real life objects? Won't it just end up looking like an ugly Android device?

I like when the podcast app looked like a reel to reel machine.
I like when a book in ibooks looks like a book.

Curious to see it.
This feels like a step backwards.

I would be surprised if this is, in fact, legitimate. The same look can be obtained at present if you use winterboard and select a transparent dock. The icons, with the exception of a few, are virtually the same as present iOS icons. It's probably some lame themer's cry for attention.

I hope I don't have to disappoint like ios map .
And apple needs to control some of apps because some app is crap doesn't even deserve to be in App Store I mean I am not against app developer but when you buy app
They don't work as described, at least apple need to check them . If the app works as described then let them in App Store for sale . As long as free doesn't make any problem but buying and doesn't work as describe not only wastage money but also disappoints whole apps store .

It's not fake... someone took a picture of an iPhone running iOS 7 and this is a picture of someone showing that picture on their phone. That's why the angle is bad.

I disagree. I liked it when all applications were based on a diamond icon, all documents were a page with a folded corner, etc... I think the consistency helped to identify things. Consistency in the interface was one of the best things about Macs, I thought.

Then again, consistency in interface design in iOS land is unheard of, and even in Mac OS it's become rarer and rarer since Mac OS was Unix-ed. And I don't even want to start with Windows (or _even_worse_; Unix), where Firefox has an orange 'button'-like thing (which is actually a menu) in the top left, Chrome just has a button (which is also actually a menu) with three horizontal lines on it, some things have a 'ribbon', some have menus, some have a billion buttons (each with their own curious heiroglyphics, some of which act as menus instead), etc...

I'm going to sit down over here now for a while...

Bullcrap. I can just about believe the photo taken of "iOS 7", but surely you could just upload that photo rather than taking a photo of a photo of a phone running iOS 7.

Unless of course it's a deliberate ploy to make ios6 with themes look like a leak.......

People appear to get bored of things after a short amount of time. If we had this new flat design that is coming out for the last six years people would be saying it is boring and dated and love whatever new design they came out with. (unless they hated it)

I'm kind of indifferent to the whole thing I am more concerned with how it functions over how it looks. A new look would not hurt though.

I agree people will eventually get bored with whatever they are given and always expect more and something different.

Wow... it absolutely looks GREAT~!! It's ... it's..

It's a blurry picture of what iOS 6 is.

Hm, that explains it. DU-H ~!

Most of those icons just look like the FlatIcons jailbreak theme (with the rounded edges option)..

Gamecenter seems to make me think that this is indeed accurate, in the initial designs. Look closely at some of the icons against what appeared yesterday for the first time in public. If it was fake, that's some pretty awesome guesswork in the direction!
