I guess it's in the middle of page scrolling. Regardless, probably a fake photo anyway.

Edit: Ops, just noticed it. You're right, picture is misplaced within the frame.

It's not misplaced. It looks more like something's in front of the screen.

To all the people claiming it's a fake...really? The fact it's so crappy is what makes me think it might be real. If I wanted to pretend I had the latest version of iOS, I'd jailbreak my iPhone, install a new theme, and take a much better shot than what we're seeing here.

This looks like something someone took in a hurry, which leads me to believe there might be something to it.

...though really, even if it is real, it's not the most revealing or informative thing that's ever been posted here. All we can tell is that the icons are slightly different than what we've got in iOS6 and not much else.

that looks like a zoomed in screenshot from camera roll.

fake. if this would be the new "redesign" then ive is already fired.

Just one shot can't give the full picture of thw whole new concept. But I do like what I saw in this one.

Did anyone at Apple actually say they were going to redesign the look of iOS, or are all these rumours just speculation leading to speculation?

I have watched all the major keynotes etc over the last few years and they almost always fall short of the expectations generated by hype. I'm not saying Apple wont release any break-through products or software but they hardly ever do, it's mostly just minor updates.

The only seriously impressive things Apple have announced were the iPhone and iPad. Going back further the iMac and iPod would fall into this category but I didn't watch those announcements.

We are due something major though, it has been a while.

LOL. Not even a good fake, the icons don't line up with the edges of the screen.;)

It could be a photo, of someone taking a photo, of the Xcode iPhone simulator on a Mac... So the image wouldn't line up with the screen.

That said, I would have thought the simulator would be set up for the screen of an iPhone 5 with it's extra row of icons, so this may still be dodgy.

When you look at the current state of stock apps icons, it seems that all of them were designed by different teams.

What a BS. They're a bit different but there's no such feeling like "all of them were designed by different teams". Some variety is a good thing. If new iOS icons will be 'homogenous' like Windows Phone style then everyone will be bored of it the next day iOS is released.

I was just thinking, if this were an early beta version, why would it only appear on the Internet now?

I can't imagine taking this picture months ago and then just leaving it for ages and then suddenly releasing it before WWDC. What's the point?

Why in the world would you want smaller fonts on a phone?

Because I feel that on a gigantic screen with very high resolution I should be able to see more than 10 email headers at once. My little old Blackberry could do that. Not saying that's for everyone but I wish I could at least set the system fonts somewhere. Everything in the Apple world is always gigantic negating the potential gain in real estate from high res screens. It's like the 15" retina pro: at native resolution it's suffering from net loss in real estate over the previous high res model. Few people seemed to be bothered by that. At least on the retina laptop you can change the font/screen element size and regain some real estate.

If this photo of a photo had been taken in an elevator I'd be more inclined to believe it was real.

Really though, even if it is real, we're never likely to know. One, it looks too similar to the current homescreen, and is blurry to boot, and two, if things have changed a lot since this, what is finally announced next week will look nothing like this.

I love these posts though - the threads are always so amusing. I'm sure I left a link to the iWalk 'leaks' threads around here somewhere...

People randomly doing dumb crap and acting like goofballs - crystal clear HD with way more graphic detail than you care to see.
UFO evidence - blurry.
Bigfoot evidence - grainy.
iOS 7 evidence - blurry + grainy + aligned incorrectly.
