Ah ok so it contains 2 holes with no function at both ends a connector that looks like it could be placed elsewhere and then 1 camera and 1 sensor, got it! SMH!
A light, a sensor, and camera, and two bolt holes. All those things either go in the notch or the bezel; if you hate the notch hide it by making the menu bar black and it will be just like the old MacBooks.

It will be still visibe in some cases, e.g. when using Mission Control. You can't hide it entirely.

Bitter due to tone. This is a forum, of course it’s all about opinions. You were bitter because you assumed no one here gives Samsung credit for anything, or that everyone will praise Apple now that they have decided to use a pill/hole punch cutout.

Not many here are praising for any change and would prefer they keep the notch until it’s completely gone. I couldn’t care less, I’m still gonna use the phone as I always have and neither will bother me.

And I certainly don’t care if it looks similar to an older Samsung. Props to them for everything they contribute.

Unfortunately, that is the case, too many blindsheeps. I can't help what you assume but it was based on what I have seen over the years---following the forums. My comparison clearly bothered you and hurt your feelings hence your personal attack instead of constructive reasoning.

There are apps that do tricks with the desktop wallpaper to black out the menubar to hide the notch. Do those not work with Mission Control? that would be a surprise, though it is hard to know for sure exactly how MC will work once it shifts.

In any case, most people with the notch find that they soon start to ignore it. Are you always aware of your nose in your visual space? If you close one eye, it will usually let you see your nose. Otherwise your brain just filters it out unless you are trying to see it.
