Imax Battery Extender?

I use the supplied USB cable, cause you can retract them if not used. I only use the Apple ones when I sync my iPhone.
Ah ok gotcha. Last question, is it safe to leave it charging over the night? Like right now I'm going to bed but it's like 3/4 charged. Is it ok if I leave it charging till tomorrow?
Ok everybody here are my results! I never charged the Imax or iPhone with anything else during this test.
Start 33% to 100%
Starr 64% to 91%
Start 6% to 100%
Start 37% to 100% (While Listening to Slacker Radio)
Start 33% to 78% (While Listening to Slacker Radio)
It went out of battery there at 78%. I got 2 full days of usage without having to charge it! I am a happy customer

When I asked them that question before, they said it is safe, the current from the battery to the iPhone when fully charged doesn't harm the iPhone at all

Got this last week here are my results after fully charging the imaxpower imp 880:
1. 22 > 100
2. 18 > 95
3. 24 > 100
4. 17 > 100
5. 36 > 100
6. 21 > 100
7. 29 > 100
8. 34 > 56
This amounts to 5.5 full charges, during a couple of the charges I was surfing the web and playing games.

That was my main concern before (when I first bought it) but now I've realized that it's quite sturdy so I left it as it is. A case for my iPhone is enough, which I haven't dropped; battery without a case - dropped numerous times

I would suggest the external battery one, that thing is really reliable after all these months. I'm trying out the battery case, I'll see if it is as good as the external one.

Luckily I was able to make the purchase from Amazon when they just announced their special promotion when it was IMP1000, now its known as IMP880E. I have nothing but great things to say. I already own the IMP880 but this one kicks it up a notch so my iPad is charged to full capacity.
It absolutely does what it says it will do. The website www.newtrent.com lets you preorder now as I think they will get their next shipment by the 27th of this month. So go for it!

The IMP500 works fine with an iPad, good for about a 50% charge on that device. Be sure to use the provided cable and adapter when charging an iPad though, or you'll get a charging error. Still trickle charges when the screen is off though, even if it says it doesn't when used with any cable other than the one from NewTrent.
The IMP500 is a terrific charger. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up the IMP880E (or 1000, whatever) if I needed a bigger boost.
A little confused by the name but it works great
I was a little confused by the name IMP880E and I will prefer to have a name like IMP1000. The new one looks very nice. The capacity is 11000mAh and it charged my iphone more than 7 times. This charger can charge my iPad more than one time.

do not buy the imp 880
When I first found the IMP880, it seems to have a lot of capacity, but I read a lot of review of the product not working properly. I decided to give a try anyways. BAD IDEA. The product doesn't work as they claim! It's suppose to be able to charge my Iphone at least 5 times, but it seems to be able to only charge it 2 times fully and the third time up to 90% before it dies. I've done several test charges on this with the same results. I highly recommend that you do not purchase this product as, although sometimes it works, it seems that they are sending out too many defective products and that could be yours. Check out the amazon reviews, some guy had 2 defective products sent to him before receiving a working one. And many others product failed right after the 6 months warrenty. I've asked for a replacement but they asked for $40 to send me one (to cover shipping). Although, their customer service was quick to reply, I think $40 for a replacement of a defective product that they sent is ridiculous, I might as well buy another product.
This was my experience, and I should've listened to the other reviewers. Just giving you a heads up!
