Hey all - I am wondering if anyone knows what type of files get stored in the "other" section of iMessage storage. This is different than the temp files iOS stores for updates and etc - this is specifically in the messages app. Also, when I click on it I don't actually see any files.

I tried looking on iCloud to see if there's a better option to view, but sadly there's not.
Thanks for any help!

Probably the data of all the messages minus the attachments.
But iOS 15 is rife with incorrect storage reporting everywhere- so there’s no telling what’s going on using that OS

I just looked at my storage and I can see that all the attachments I have sent are shown in Other. Not sure why you aren’t seeing anything in Other.
