Yep. It looks kinda weird because im used to the iPod touch's chrome, but it looks pretty nice.
The last I heard I thought alumnium looked more better than glass, I don't think that the new touch will have an aluminum back, as much as I want it to have aluminum, I still don't think it will, Apple has stuck with chrome on the iPod since it's debut nine years ago, even if Apple designed the touch with an aluminum enclosure, it would look nicer than the iPhone 4, which is Apples flagship mobile device.
I wish someone would just leak the new design already. They must have started production by now.

Im not sure how you do this, but the aluminum one looks pretty legit. If i hadnt known you photoshopped this i might believe it was the real thing.

Me too. Apple has probably started production, they have had to since they have to get them ready for September, since iPod's are sold right after they are announced. The rumors/leaks/images started about mid-August last year, so I expect them to come very soon.
Why is it that when talking about camera placement everyone seems to forget that the light sensor is near the top middle?
Yes, but is the light sensors placement all that critical? I mean, on an iPhone the speaker must be right in the middle, putting it anywhere else would be uncomfortable and probably unusable. The ambient light sensor just needs a general idea of the lighting environment, so could probably be moved to anywhere on the device.

anyway..I dig the small iPad look and it would be nice if the iPod Touch ventured away from the iPhone, they look too similar I think. People that didn't know the difference between the two would confuse one for the other. If that mystical 128GB iPod Touch came out I would likely finally convert from the iPod Classic, however I don't really like the idea of having to look at it and take it out of my pocket every time I want to change songs. As have had already owned a 1st gen iPod touch I sold, I know first hand what a pain it is.
I really hope the new touch has an anodized aluminum finish like the nano, it doesn't scratch easily, but it rarely does show finger prints too. Chrome is just getting old.
Yep. Why dont they have multiple colors for the Touch? I honestly dont see why not; the nano has 'em.
