iPod touch [IMG]NEW UPDATE 5! Colored Models. Is this the iPod Touch 4G!?

I sure hope the touch someday gets colors, even if they had 4 colors, I would buy one with color. It'll probably happen in 2011.
I think they might have a switch where the vibrate switch is on the iPhone 4 for orientation lock.
I wish there was a vib function period. Like for emails and push notifications.
I love speculations. But are there any major leaks floating around like the Gizmodo Incident? Also, are we SURE that there is a camera this time? Last year most people said 'yay camera for sure!'.
Well to be fair, that was true...kinda.
Prototypes have been found of the iPod Touch 3 with a rear facing camera. It seems that the camera was included in the design but pulled out at some point close to manufacturing. I haven't taken my iPod apart to check, but I've heard claims that there is a slot in the current touch with a hole that is a perfect fit for the iPhone camera. So it seems that rumor was a mostly true one.
The ambient light sensor is in the middle.
And also, I really do hope it is similar to the iPhone 4 cosmetically. The "smaller iPad" look that has been proposed looks kind of bad.
If the camera almost was put into the final design on the 3rd Gen but got pulled, doesn't it make it even more probable that there will be a camera this time?
Okay, iPod touch 4 DREAM features - 3G radio, MicroSD slot, 5MP camera with flash, two cameras, vibration, thinner, iPhone 4 like glass design, GPS, better audio system.
REALISTIC features - new design (not exactly iPhone 4 like), 1 camera (more likely front facing, but either way, 3.2MP with low quality video), A4 chip, retina display.
I mean really guys, it's not an iPhone. It's an iPod. Specifically made for multimedia experience and gaming. Not to be "iPhone without a phone." Even if it was, we would NEVER get things the iPhone didn't get, let alone the 3G based features.

The Nano's body is made of aluminum, which I imagine is much easier to paint than the Touch's glass - just look at all the problems Apple's having simply manufacturing a white iPhone 4.
I finally found out what was so unrealistic; the active screens size proportion to the inactive screens size.
If Apple releases that, I'll be first in line. It's time to do away with the shiny chrome backs and move on. As much as I love your original concept which looked similar to the iPhone 4, I doubt that Apple will do that. My guess is that they want to keep their products looking uniformly Apple, so I would fully expect to see a design on par with the iPad. But nice mockups, I'd kill to own an iPod that looks like that.

Because apple is having production issues with the white iphone right now and you want them to add more colors? lol
It's not painted but rather anodized - it creates a layer of oxide, which has more pores than aluminium, allowing it to be dyed.

Yes. But theyre working with glass, and we SHOULD be working with anodized aluminum.
I think the colors should stick with the nano. The touch with colors is a cool idea, but I see it causing production issues. The nano is perfect with colors. Nice redesigned picture, by the way.
I think part of what makes the iPod touch brilliant it its spartan design. If anything, I think we may see black, white, and bare anodized aluminum casings.
I like the first iPod touch, very realistic..... The design love it! But no front facing camera? What about face time?
