Jeez, the bloody arguments, a netbook is basically a smaller version of a laptop.. its got a smaller screen, smaller keyboard, most of the times an Atom Processor, can have low harddisk space, and does not have space for storage devices, but there are those that does support SD Cards. I think (not 100% sure, but I am 85% certain) they can be connected to external drives

I think as time goes by the definition of a netbook will change. In a nutshell, a netbook is for really simple basic computing

Most but not all of them run some form of Unix/Linux or OpenSource origin OS would be the only thing I think you would need to add. :D But seriously it's time to move on.

Netbooks may not yet be encroaching on the 17"-MBP, but they sure are getting close to the 13". Or what would you call 2GB RAM anf a 160GB HD if not netbook specs?

oi? Can we stop with the netbook rhetoric? Make your own netbook thread.

Gorilla person, listen. Your reading comprehension fails. that's your comment:

"LOL ! And he's thinking Apple is going to update MBPs tomorrow and then again in 2 months ? "

that's my op:

"Now, I'm thinking, if the MBPs will get updated this week, what does it mean for WWDC update?

People will buy a minor bump now, because they're starved, only to be disappointed in two months, when the much more exciting update will roll out?

Or this update is IT for the year? Which, considering how it's rumored it's just a bump, is disappointing in itself?

It's just thoughts, so what's your take?
"

I'm stating that this update might be IT, for now, OR they might update the thing in a couple months (happened before) again. And consequently, asking people what they think of this scenario IF it were to happen, not that it IS going to happen.

Do you get it now, or do I need to spell it out for you? Maybe you'll get time to think and answer when you'll return from primary.
