impressions of leather case on iPhone 6

As soon as my iPhone 6 arrives within the hour, I was thinking about getting a leather case from apple. Anyone who has it on already comments appreciated!
 
Very pleased with mine. Not much bulk at all, which was important to me. Not concerned about the bottom being exposed. On a 6+ though.
 
Has anyone seen the pink colour one? To me looking online it was my favourite, just curious if it looks more pinkish and feminine in person? I'm a guy BTW.
 
Very pleased with mind (iPhone 6)! Fits well, I like the color of the Navy, has great feel to it. Slightly concerned about the bottom being more open than the Apple leather case for the 5 and 5S but not enough so to not get the case.
 
the light colored 5s cases got disgusting really fast. i would steer clear regardless of how feminine or masculine it made me feel.

i think the 6 plus feels much better in the leather case with minimal added bulk. it has a better grip and hides the ugly back. i also don't like the camera lens sticking up. it sits flat now.
 
Not too pleased with mine. The bottom edge digs into my little finger when I rest the phone on it in one hand. I would have preferred the 5/5s style fit across the bottom.
 
Leather Cases

The Apple leather cases feel really cheap, almost like a synthetic plastic. I opted for the Apple silicone case it does not add that much to the size.

So are the silicone cases less bulky than the leather? Also, how are the cases holding to the back of the 6 Plus? It would be really annoying if they didn't stretch right and drooped down in the middle, considering the large, flat back on the Plus.

Wow really? It's so funny how we can all have such varying opinions. The leather is super soft and I thought it's a nice touch to such an awesome phone. I'm very happy with the leather case.
 
I went to my local apple store this morning and got one for the 6+ I'll be getting from UPS later today. It's much thinner and stiffer than I expected but it feels very high quality. Can't wait to put it on my baby !

No they are not less bulky. And the leather case fits very tightly. In fact it was a bit hard to get on the first time. No drooping at all, it's super tight.
 
I wish someone would do video drop tests on these phones inside the Apple cases to see how much protection they provide.
 
No front protection?

Aghhhhhh that sucks. From the pictures it looks like it did.
 
I've got the navy leather case for my 6 plus and really like it. Makes the phone easier to grip and is a really good fit.

You do lose the lovely rounded edges when its in the case as there is a very slightly raised lip up front so that if you place your phone face down the glass doesn't touch the surface. Most cases will do this anyway.

For me its a worthwhile trade off, swiping still works beautifully and the case is an excellent fit, feels nice and soft to the touch and doesn't add much bulk at all (iPhone 6+.)
