Another vote for the leather feeling very cheap. Disappointed in my navy blue one. Keeping the packaging and plan to return it.

Feels like cardboard and can't imagine it offers any protection. I bet the phone pops right out with any drop. The front lip is absolutely minimal.

I love the Apple leather case...and I hate cases. I wanted something that I could remove w/o too much trouble, didn't add bulk, but still protracts against scratches and minor bumps. This fits perfectly.

I have the black leather case on my iPhone 6. Absolutely love it. It fits like a glove and is super minimal, but would clearly protect the phone from most types of drops.

I'm not sure you want to test that. That case is too thin to be truly drop resistant. It sure is purdy.

i love my black leather case for my 6 but it does get lint caught up at the top of the screen and because it has a slight lip to it i don't get to slide my finger across the whole screen like the phone was intended for i think, but i haven't found a better quality or aesthetically pleasing a case yet, everything else just feels or looks cheap.

I am male and about as far from being gay as possible. I agree about the pink. The pink case on the white phone looks amazing. I actually bought an extra phone in white along with the pink case.

The case actually looks more beige than pink. If you look closely in bright daylight, you can see the hint of pink, but otherwise, I think it isn't pink enough for those who want real pink.

In the end, I decided on a black phone, so I am not using the pink case, but if I chose the white phone, I probably would.

Why would being gay have anything to do with your color choice? Get whatever you like (I realize you did that, I just don't understand the gay comment).

I think in the context of this thread dcorban was referring to it not being a feminine looking colour. IMHO a common usage of the word not intending offence.

As an aside, I picked up my phone last night, a gold 6. I chose the olive case but gave serious thought to the pink. It just looked a little bland to me, the olive seemed nicer, especially with the gold band around the home button.

havent received my 6 Plus and case but can tell you by experience with the same leather case for the 5s that it holds well apart from the colour.

unfortunately had the Red and it went really dark and looking dirty within weeks of usage.

go for black or another dark colour and you should be fine.

Picked a black one up for my iPhone 6 last night. I LOVE it. Had the silicone on there for the past week and I love the leather much more, silicone is going back.

My wife has the brown one for her 5S. The plus side is the softer interior has seen her phone stay in mint condition which most cases do not do as they trap abrasive dirt like the one for my 5. The minus side of the equation is that after a year of using it, the scuffing of the color makes it look terrible...I should buy her a new one.

I ordered a black one for my 6 Space Gray that is on it's way here, it's the most resistant color to turning black over time for obvious reasons. I am going to look for a very protective case I can slip the whole phone and leather case into while doing things like skiing or hiking as I think some form of grippy case is mandatory for this phone to prevent it from slipping out of hand but I am going to need some serious impact protection due to how thin it is.

Same here. If you should find something for phone and case please post. Need something when doing landscaping...

impressions of leather case on iPhone 6

I hate that the edge of the case covers the sides of my screen even though that will definitely protect the phone more than without them. Also lol at the worries of the leather wearing eventually. I can't wait for it, brand new leather look like ass on everything.

Would have probably bought a silicone one if it came in navy or black (the black one is more gray). Not crazy about how the texture looks, but it is growing on me. The fit and feel is definitely tighter and more rigid feeling.

I'm sure you're right -- apologies to dcorban if my comment came off as harsh.

I use an Apple brown leather case for my SG iPhone 6 and couldn't be happier. Have a nice feel to it, light, adds grip, looks also cool. Not cheap though but hey.

It's definitely overpriced (probably cost Apple $2) but I love my black leather case on my Plus. Really nice feel to it and it gives just enough grip. I enjoy it. :)

I like the leather case and have one on my iPhone 6, but, don't kid yourself, it's not going to protect your phone if you drop it on cement.

Not expecting to save it but reduce chances of something going wrong - regardless of the material of the floor.

Just saying that leather case seems to strike a good balance of elegance, lightweight and protection.

Enjoying my case on my 6 Plus. Word of advice, get some sort of leather waterproofer/sealant as these cases don't appear to be treated so they will swell with water and especially with certain colors the dye may transfer to other things that you set it on/in.
