iMZDL's Spire Siri Proxy

I read a few issues of few apps not working after installing spire. Has anyone come across such issues?

Please m just thinking of installing. But not at the cost of the other things failing..

make sure that you've used redsn0w 0.9.10b4 to jailbreak your iPhone. if not then you can just re-run that version of redsn0w but you need to uncheck "install cydia". or if you don't want to do that, just run whatever redsn0w that you've used and after you install spire, go to redsn0w and find the tether boot option. this will make your apps work again but after a reboot it might have that issue again(that's only if you used the tether boot option).

I am untethered jailbroken with redsnow beta 4. All is working well. So u mean do I have to re run redsnow unchecking "install cydia" after I install spire???

Nah, you're fine then. just as long as you did the jailbreak with redsn0w beta 4, then you should be just fine. but if you do run into the problem, i'd suggest doing the tether boot.

EDIT: checked the proxy and it IS https. I ordered on Safari on my phone and the ordering page was secure (padlock icon). Your loss.


iMZDL is NOT a phishing site. Look around their website and Twitter feed before scaremongering.

I've been using them for years for UDID registration to access iOS betas and get Mac OS X betas. They're a well known name, and not con men. There's two security certificates you need to install as profiles prior to entering the proxy address. Don't use your card not working as some red flag that it's a hoax either.

Well I gave this service a try and they sent me an email with the two websites to download the certificates, but when I try to install I get a popup that says "Cannot install profile due to unknow error". Does anyone know hoe to fix this or what I am doing wrong?
 
Purchased this morning and had it up and running within minutes. Not had any problems so far! Only issues were with Spire causing apps to crash, but I managed to resolve that by uninstalling My3G.

Correct. Just install Spire and pay for the service. I got an email within minutes to the links to download certificates and the proxy address you need to enter in the spire tab in settings.app.
 
I downloaded it and also got it up and running in a few minutes.... I did notice that I had to re-installed spire and respring in order to get it going but after that I haven't had any problems. $20 for a year should tide me over until the iPhone 5 comes out... awesome work! DAMN A UNIFIED GERMANY, VIVA LA REVOLUCION!!
 
Installed Spire, signed up for the Proxy, Siri working perfect. Best $20 I've spend all year.

So everything works just fine??? I am just scared because if It messes up my iPhone and apple stops signing 5.0.1 in a few days and launches 5.1 , then m screwed.
 
Just a quick question.

Can Siri on iPhone 4 do everything that an iPhone 4s can? Like integrate with calendar, alarms and all that??

I'd recommend just trying to install again. Maybe respring or reboot first. Really hope you can get it sorted out. :(
 
Just want to share my experience with Spire. Installed Spire and paid the $20. But like others, My3G and Spire weren't playing nice. Apple apps would not open. Uninstalled My3G. Now Siri will not work over 3G network. Only wifi. So I installed 3G unrestrictor 5 from Cydia. Everything works fine now!!!
