Have anyone found a comparison video of the new screens compared to iPhone 16-series? It’s not even mentioned when comparing this years models with last years models on the Apple website.

I would wait until we get official reviews to get a good idea as to how well it works. On the iPhone 17 marketing page, it says reflections are reduced by 33%. That makes me think it won't make a huge difference, honestly.

That’s definitely not much. If I remember correctly the FloLab screen protector reduces it by 55%.

So many people are going to put generic screen protectors on the new iPhone and totally cancel out the AR screen lol
Would be nice if you don’t even need screen protectors anymore. I go caseless on my 16 Pro, but do have a screen protector. Would be nice to not get one on the 17 Pro I am ordering.

You've never needed a screen protector! Plus, it's almost universally a worse user experience. But I've had no durability issues with the screens for MANY years.

I've been a heavy user of iCarez Matte screen protectors on my watch/phone/iPad because it makes outside / bright environment usage much better. YouTubers that I follow seem to praise Samsung's latest anti-reflective coating - and it looks impressive.

I have the nano-texture on my Apple Studio display and couldn't imagine life without it.

Just always afraid will get micro-scratches and will protect it just in case I drop it. But you are probably right. 🙂
