Okay, I got the notification from Apple that the phone is ready for pick up, and the rep called me personally from the store which was great. Pretty best case scenario for something out of their control IMHO.
This is what I am hoping that it will be sorted out by our 730-8 slot.I am in the same boat, got the email last night with the delay message. I am going to try anyways. It's only a 20 mile trip each way and worth a try. How sad...My pick up window is 6-6:30 so maybe it will come by then.

We don't have any tracking because we are in store pickup. Only the W order. I am PA so I don't know why they would have to go through TX.

When I went Friday, they didn't have any left other than pre orders. Found a 256GB SIM Free Midnight Green online in King of Prussia and got it. Still no email about my original order being available. Will it be cancelable again once it is available, or do I have to cancel it with Apple then?So I went last night anyways, even though I got the email that is was delayed. When I got there I was told that a large shipment didn't come in and the phone I ordered was not in yet. There was a line of people getting phones that didn't pre order. I cancelled my pre order and just bought one in stock. I didn't even have to wait in line since I had preordered and she felt bad about my phone not being there. That was the good news. Sadly, the Apple rep that set me up was ...well maybe new or temp. He did his best but finally ended up having his manager come and help him. Anyways, all is well that ends well. Did anyone else go anyways and get a phone?

Everyone I talked to said they should be in by the end of the weekend.I called this morning and cancelled it through Apple. It was quick and easy.
