I have a question.....when you buy a 5s from the Apple store do you have to activate it through AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint on the spot? The reason I am asking is because my Sprint contract ends on Sunday and I am switching to Verizon but if I get the chance to grab a 5s before Sunday I would like to at least get the phone and then on Monday activate through Verizon. Any help would be appreciated...thanks!

Yes,they activate it while you're there.

But if you got one before I'd call your current carrier before activating the new one. I'm sure they'd let you out of your contract with only days left on it without any penalties.

Ahh ok good to know, thanks!

I really like the personal pickup system via my iPhone. It's fast accurate & minimizes ones time in the store. It's by far the best system of all.

Not a stupid question at all. What I did was... Hope I answered your question and good luck :)

Thanks. It's showing none in any color or size within a hundred miles, so I'll just try to quit worrying about it. The thing will get here when it arrives and not a moment before :)

Not quite. I was on line seconds after 12:00am PST, was given a shipping date of 9/24, and only late on 9/24 was told that 10/7 was the new date. I wouldn't be mad if they had given me a correct date to begin with, or told me they didn't know. (This is Verizon btw, so I guess confirmed Apple lovers can blame them).

If I didn't own a whole stable of Apple products and like the way they integrate, I would go back to Droid.

Mine did arrive this past Wednesday, almost a week ahead of the new date. Of course, that was the one day I was out of town. But I got it yesterday and it seems pretty nice (space grey 64gb).
