I got a confirmation email instantly, but no charge on my card yet. Called Chase to make sure it wouldn't be flagged as fraud and they said I won't have an issue.

Do you know if they made a $0 charge on your account? I ask because fraud detection flagged my order and said there was a $0 charge from iTunes right after I placed my order. I said it was fine and I recognized it.

Doesn't look like it. When I called last night, they only referenced a charge that I made before ordering the phone. I still haven't been charged at all, but my confirmation and order status (when it works) both say pick up on the 19th.

I received my confirmation email at 3:14AM, within a minute or two of placing the order. No charge on my CitiCard, not even a 00.00 hold.

Not really worried.

Okay. I saw the order on the store page (before it completely stopped working) so I think I'm okay and I did get the confirmation email about in-store pickup. So far no charges showing up pending on my account so I guess this seems the same as everyone else.

I did the In-Store pickup option and I received an e-mail with the subject "Your order is being processed" .... Should I be getting another email that is the actual confirmation?

This is what I have too.. are we guaranteed the phone for pickup? Anyone else get more emails?

We're all getting that. The store is just slammed and you basically can't see your order history at all.

Yes, it wouldn't have allowed pickup otherwise.

The email should say "Available 9/19. We'' notify you when these items are ready."
 
This was the email I got here in the uk. No charge to my account. Went into the apple store after work and was told it wouldn't charge my card associate with iTunes and that I could still use my gift cards and another credit card when I collect the phone next week.

Wow kind of lame you have an one hour window to claim your phone. I like it here where the phone has been paid for a you can pick it up anytime the store is open on the 19th or a few days later.

Wish they would give U.S. consumers an hour window. I will show up around 8AM anyway.
 
I got both the phones I wanted in pre order night. I just hated that there was no in store pickup for me. It said they do not do that for att next program. They should allow for the first time sign ups to next program since we don't have to trade in out phone. That's how it should have been.
