iPhone 13 Pro Max In-Store Stock Arrival: When, how often?

The last big one I saw was last Thursday and it was later at night. Stores started lighting up with stock around 8-8:15pm. With new stock here and there every 5-10 minutes through 9:45pm. Since then it’s been sporadic. The best times for the stores around me are 8:30-9:15am, 12-2pm and then after 8pm. But I’ve really only seen 1 or 2 models at a time those times since Friday. I’m thinking they’re just not getting enough for online stock and pretty much walk-in levels. But it’s just too far of a drive for my liking with no guarantee.
I hear ya. I don't have the time to be driving an hour each way if I don't know for sure I have one for online pickup.

256 or 512 GB Pro Max - Preferably Graphite.... but I think at this point you can't be too picky with the color/configurations that are popping up in stores as it seems few and far between.
Yep, saw that… already gone now lol. I’m holding out for Carnegie as I don’t have a car and this store is a 10 min walk.
So, this is pretty much what I figured, but the Apple Store staff were adamant they’d keep it after I explained it was a reservation, so a bit galling to then find out they didn’t hold it, more galling that it seems pretty much impossible to complain about it to apple.
I've been looking. I have only seen 13 Pro models pop up, and never anything bigger than 256GB. I have yet to see a PM in any configuration.
I think this week might be Pro's turn. Last week was the Pro max that got restocked (not all of them but they were there).
That may well be the case. I am hoping to pick up a PM with 512+ GB in any color other than Gold.

Let me be the first person to say, I don't know you and I already don't like you. But really, congrats on the new phone!
Metro Detroit. My theory is, they have stock in store for walk-in sales. After the store closes they release the stock for online sales. My store closed at 7 and a bunch of Pros and Pro Maxes popped up within 5-10 minutes.
