Anyone know if the new MBP's will be in store today? I haven't wanted to buy on release day for a while so I'm not sure if the stores get them on the day they start shipping or if there is a few day delay.

Thanks,

Y2J

I'm wondering as well. I'm guessing they will be available tomorrow as I wouldn't think they'd do a mid day in store-refresh. I would think they'd need to close for a few hours to take all old models down and get the new ones running and secured.

wow - I need to see it.. but I'd rather see a smaller version. I don't think I want a 15" in laptop...

They have a new invention in all their stores called a telephone. I understand you can use those to talk to store personnel. :D

I called and the dude said he doesn't have any info on it....call back in a couple hours *hint hint* so it's still up in the air at this point.

I've bought two unibodies in store on the same day of announcements in Vancouver. I phoned them today and same "clueless until after keynote." So I'll head down in a bit; will update then.

I am interested too - please let me know if you hear of when stores will get them.

There were no shipments earlier today but Apple stores have gotten shipments at noon (PST) in the past though that doesn't suggest that they will be in store today.

This is going to be one of those things where they play dumb until they get the ok to start selling.

When it goes live in the online store it will go live in the B&M stores.

Stores said they know the same as we do. No communication has been sent. Usually it is posted on the web first per the manager at the store in Reston, VA.

Apparently a few stores in TX have them, but not sure if they will be up for sale today or tomorrow.

Beverly Center in Los Angeles had nada, was just there 20 mins ago... Still same old machines
