In Store Today?

I called the Irvine Spectrum store and the guy said they *may* be getting a shipment later today, but I'm guessing probably tomorrow will be a better bet.
 
The store by University of Pittsburgh an Carnegie Mellon University (and a few other schools too) said they haven't received a shipment yet and that it would probably be in the next couple of days.
 
NYC 5th Ave Store has no idea when

I just called the 5th Ave store in New York and they had no idea when the new MBPs would be in store. She said that when the in store pickup option is available in the online store they'll be available in store.

She seemed to think that things could change at any moment and was waiting to hear something soon.

Update:
The online store now has the in store pick option available but none of the new models come up as actually available to pick up at that store when you select it. And ... ack! The previous 5-7 day shipping time has gone up to 7-10!. How will I wait that long?

Come on... I just want to at least be able to PLACE the order for pickup. This way, if they have it in my area, I'll be able to grab it ASAP.

Also, what are the chances that they won't have it available in stores until 1+ week from now?
 
I just called the closest Apple store in Sydney and they told me to call back in 5 hours.
 
The store I called in Toronto doesn't know when they will have any and just said they "hope" to have some tomorrow...
