That's made by Elecom. Looks like a good product. Elecom also makes a lot of good accessories for computers and gadgets.

Thanks for letting me know that's an elecom case. I bought one for my 13" from shinza in 2007 (shinza.com) and recently did the same for the 15". Thing is, it's been nearly 2 weeks and I haven't heard from them- not a confirmation email, no response to my messages to them via their site, and my card has not been charged. Wierd.

So, I'm not exactly sure what to do just now. I see them available on Amazon and would order- except for I just don't know what's going on with Shinza.com Does anybody?

I read Dutch, but I don't understand even half of it :D Anyway, I went through the buying procedure to see what countries are on the list (France for me):
Manon_countries.jpg

It is indeed a very strange selection of countries they have. Unfortunately, Norway is not on the list.

You should email manon, I am quite confident that she is able to send it to Norway. Although if you don't like the quality of the Paul Smith sleeve I doubt this on will satisfy you. The manon sleeve is 3mm and I think it's quit thin, not sure though.

Anyone know if the booq vs3 lets the macbook slide around inside?

What would be best for a laptop inside a backpack while cycling?

As I've said before, I've had both versions and neither has caused any scratches. It would be difficult to scratch the MBP with either of the cases IMO.

I agree. What did cause scratches was that stupid Incase logo they stuck in the first generation. The thing wasn't really a whole lot of protection though.

How is the Neoprene Sleeve (Plus) compared with the Moshi Codex? If I put the MBP in either of these and then into the Nylon Backpack/Sleeve, will it fit and provide extra protection? I guess one advantage the Codex has is that it provides protection for the MBP while the computer is in use. Another advantage is that it seems to be made of material that has good shock absorption.

What sold me on the Moshi Codex was when I stopped by their MacWorld booth this past February in San Francisco, one of their sales reps responded to my questioning of whether any sleeve was worth the $65 price tag of the Codex by asking me: "Sure you can find a sleeve for $10, 20, or even $30 cheaper, but would you be willing to do this with your Macbook using another sleeve?" he then chucks his MBP HARD on the ground while in the Codex, picks it back up, opens up the top and keeps on typing.

This is the sleeve that I am planning to get for my MBP 13". I was wondering, will it be safe to put my MBP into the sleeve while it's sleeing? Or will that cause it to overheat? Also, if i were to hold the case from the opposite side of the velcro, so that the flap is facing down and I am just holding the sleeve, withh the MBP somehow bust out? Or is the velcro strong enough to stay in place? Lastly, does anyone know what kind of interior that has? Will it cause scratching? Or should I try to find something else for interior padding? I can make my own just like that as long as someone can recommend me an interior padding to use. I don't wanna scratch my MBP.

whats the difference between the Incase Neoprene Sleeve and the Plus model. IDK which one I bought but got one which I think is good quality but wanted to know

Hey guys! I just recomend: Tucano Second Skin (Used it on my MBP)

http://www.tucanousa.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=BF-N-MB154

Because:

Exclusive "Anti-slip" system further protects laptop from zipper scrapes and slippage.

Never had a scratch! Its awesom, also comes with a nice neoprene pouch for the charger. I think its the best sleeve. :apple: :D

I have one of their sleeves (with the 9 dot logo), but wasn't sure what you meant by the pouch for the charger. My sleeve only holds a computer. So I followed your link to their website and see that one could buy a cable pouch separately that will match in color.

Bought Incase Neoprene Sleeve (Plus) for my new 17" MBP, could not be happier. Great design, wetsuit fabric outside, soft fabric inside, and zipper does not contact MBP.

Purchased the Incase Plus for my new 13" MBP but didn't like it all that much. It's a nice case, but it doesn't offer all that much protection. I returned it and bought the Booq Vyper Xs3. Much better!!!

is there anything like the incase but with a shoulder strap?
