White glossy. It got scratched by the upper case at the top and on the right.
I cleaned the thing very well before I installed it. I cleaned the iPhone as well. This has happened after one day of use. Imagine if you kept it for a few months. Plastic cannot touch the iPhone. Full stop.

Aww that's not cool. So I was probably lucky cause I got both white
and black and they never scratched my phone. But right now I stopped using both.

They'll scratch it eventually. My guess is that when I have inserted my headphones, it pushed the phone out and dust got in. Then it got scratched from friction. I did clean it well before I put it in, both the case and the phone.
Cases are evil. I am convinced that they should not be bought unless they have a condom like SwitchEasy Neo or you use BodyGuardz before you put it in.

I think thesse incase sliders looked much better on the first gen iPhones. That's why I'm not rocking one on my 3g.

Yeah I guess every case has a flaw, I'm presently using Neo but the wiggles and the stains are somewhat disappointing as well.

No hardcase is best. I have a macbook with an Applesac, and no scratch whatsoever. Maybe, I'll buy an iPouch, or some sock.

Every case will have it's flaw. But over all I like the slider. It's sleek and tough. What more can you really ask for? Did any of you guys "baby" your old phone like the iPhone?

Incase is releasing two more colors for the slider. It's Silver and Copper. That brings the total colors available to six.

Here are the photos of the new colors.

Those look like the pics from ebay
One is described as gold, but its probably just copper

I think hardcases are good.
Pouches or a sock only protect it when its inside it. But if you're actually using the phone then its completely exposed. So a hardcase acts as a strong second skin protecting the phone at all times.
There are many cases there that don't scratch the iphone. Mostly cases that don't slide. They have other flaws as well though.
I like the iClear concept. How its put on. They should have it in solid colors.

Some of the matte blacks still do peel. But I think for the most part, this problem has been addressed.

Do the matte black sliders still have a tendency to peel? Or did they fix this problem already?

The matte blacks still do peel, especially if you keep your phone in your pocket like I do. I went through two black ones that peeled before switching to the gunmetal one. So far it hasn't peeled, but it's only been two weeks, and that's about how long it took for the black ones to start peeling.

I would just pass on the matte black. Why bother with returns/exchanges? Just stick with color/finish that works well and won't peel.

Had the Glossy White on my Black 3G, and it was just a little to flashy and had a slippery feel to it. Returned it and picked up the Gun Metal one and WOW I LOVE IT! It looks slick and stylish, yet it doesnt scream hey look at me. It adds some 'gripiness' to the phone, similar to the InCase Hard Shell on my MacBook.

After taking my Glossy White off, there were NO scratches on my phone what-so-ever, just a little bit of the rubber residue left which is wiped off pretty easily. Phone still looks brand new!

Hope this helps someone.

Oh yea, I applied the Anti-Glare PS after putting the case on, and I have NO air bubbles at all. The case actually made it super easy to put on.

Damn, after much research, finally bought a black rubberized slider today. Is this the matte black you refer to or is there another? I'm liking the case much better than my griffin leather.

They don't make a rubberized slider. You probably bought the black matte one. That's the one people are having problems with.

Has anyone purchased the magenta slider yet? If so can they post some pictures? I was thinking of buying this for my girlfriend, but I haven't been able to find it at my local apple stores.

I know it's not the same as a user submitted photo gallery, but Incase finally has it up on their site. They have the standard 3 view product shot. Looks sharp, but way too bright for me. Now if they only made it in royal blue...

Thanks. But I already knew that was up. Actually the changed the picture. The magenta was a lighter color then it is now. That's why I was asking if anyone purchased it.

I just noticed mine just started peeling today. Did you return through Incase? And did they let you change to the gunmetal?

I bought mine when they first came out - they better still honor the exchange.

I bought mine at the Apple store, and they let me exchange it for a gunmetal, even though it was a few weeks past the return date. The first time I exchanged my matte black for another matte black, I went to the apple store without a receipt even, and the guy let me exchange it and printed out a new receipt for me. YMMV though.
