I picked one up at Verizon this morning. Everything is great with the exception of the screen sensitivity or lack there of. Typing is a major pain as the letters near the edges of the phone are unresponsive unless you really push down. I can type pretty fast on the phone with just a screen protector but this case really slowed me down due to the pressure that I have to apply. I contacted Incipio and they had not heard of the issue and provided no help. I will be returning mine this afternoon.

Excellent Case!

So Im normally not one to post reviews online but I feel the atlas case deserves it. I picked it up this morning at a verizon store and I must say I am thoroughly impressed. Keep in mind that I may not be as picky as some are concerning a shockproof/waterproof case, it is what it is.
My only previous experience with this type of case is the Lifeproof Fre which I didn't consider to be horrible, just not ideal. My biggest problem with the Lifeproof was the inability to use headphones without the adapter and the way the screen protector seemed to take away from the color and clarity of the retina display. Oil slicks didn't bother me that much.
The atlas is much better in every area....
The case actually feels like a solid case (slightly more bulky than Lifeproof), one I know will protect my iphone no matter what....Lifeproof didn't inspire confidence the way this one does.
The glass screen protector is spot on.....no oil slicks for those of you concerned about it. Most important to me is that it doesn't reduce the quality of the retina display and it sits flush with the screen. I have no issues with sensitivity....it's almost as if there is no screen protector.
Speaker quality is fine, it sounds like it is channeled up the back of the case but I don't notice the vibration that I did with the Lifeproof. This isn't a big issue to me because it's a phone, I don't expect perfect sound from the speakers. All of my headphones plug into to the phone without needing an adapter which is huge for me.
The case is a bit difficult to open, I needed a coin to do so...not a big deal consider I will almost never open it back up.
I haven't made any phone calls with it yet but I am not expecting any issues in that area.
What can I say, this is the perfect case for my phone and my needs.

Since Incipio is not offering a holster for the Atlas:
Has anyone tried the Atlas with other holsters, e.g. the one for the Seidio Obex or Lifeproof Fre?

Nice write up. It is amazing that your experience with the screen protector is so different from mine. Maybe I had a defective case? Not sure.

I believe you do. I had the same problem with the case I picked up at the Verizon store last night. Exchanged it for another one during lunch today and its much better.

I must say, however, that although I like this glass screen protector quite a bit now I'm not sure that the plastic one on the Armor wasn't somehow better. It's WAY better than the defective one I had at first, but I still seem to have to repeat some presses more than usual.

Just wanted to repeat this question...I'd love an armband for this thing. I'm not sure exactly how Lifeproof's clips onto the case, but I'd imagine it'd fit if their holster does. I won't be holding my breath though...

Also, still looking for others' feedback on sound quality when making a 'normal' call with the phone up to your ear. There seems to be some slight vibration or something that makes the other person's voice sound pretty distorted. It tails off if I turn the volume down a bit, but then, of course, the volume's low. I remember hearing a similar vibration/distortion when using the speaker with the Lifeproof case and it also improves if I turned the volume down a bit.

Cancelled my "Pre-Order" and bought from VZ today *with discount* in the all black color I wanted. Not sure what Incipio's game was there but I know they lost $ with me. Anyhow, I love the case. That said, here are my issues:

1: The screen protector looks beautiful, but I have to press a little harder than normal and it's a bit difficult to hit some of the edges. So, reduced sensitivity, but not by much, far better than LP or Armor. Far...

2. The case feels like its built solid and will protect, but it's outer shell is slick like the Otterbox Commuter series. I'm not a huge fan of this bc it slides off things and I have a harder time holding it. I will be looking for some type of grip sticker to add to the back/sides. I'll post if I find something good.

3. Sounds like its in a waterproof case. Because it is! I use a Plantronics Voyager Pro 80% of the time and music isn't an issue bc I got a JBL Charge for tunes on the go.

Really small issues for me half a day in. I waited a long time for this case and so far, I'm extremely satisfied.

Seem that iLounge had the same issue with incoming audio on calls as I'm experiencing:

"Unfortunately, voices coming through the earpiece were somewhat impaired by a tinny noise that sounds like the grate is somewhat loose. Despite this, you can still make out what the other person is saying without issue, and while the interference is less than ideal, it may not bother everyone."

Is anyone NOT this noise that sounds like something is loose and vibrating when listening to a call?

I am doing the same. Preordered the black/blue, but cancelled it and going to get the black from verizon.

Don't understand the logic of having an all black one on their International ordering web site and only black and blue on the US side. Is this available at AT&T?

What's the deal with the mute switch?

Everytime I snap the phone into the case it slides to mute and I am unable to use the switch to turn it back on?

Well, I gave in. Picked up a white one at Verizon after work. This is as far as I've gotten:
