Is your service with Verizon? My company has a contract with Verizon but the store said the discount is only available if you are a current customer with Verizon.

Yes I am a verizon customer. Saved me a bunch from what I would have paid with incipio

----------

anyone no if i can exchange my case for another at verizon if i bought it from incipios website

Doubt it, especially since verizon only has black and white cases.

Mines here! Free shirt, free green feather case and free headphones! Water test time! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1366395355.797775.jpg

Charging

I find the bottom door a bit annoying to get open to plug in the car adaptor not to mention you have that thing dangling down while trying to talk. My lifeproof is starting to not look nearly as bad as I originally thought.

Just got my Atlas, Green feather, t-shirt and headphones as well. I will say like the others the only con in the case I can see is the sensitivity of the screen. But it is something that can easily get used to. Everything else about the case I really like. I was not expecting to get the headphones with the case as well, since that promotion or whatever just started not long ago and I ordered in March. But for $89 to get the Atlas, feather, headphones and t-shirt was definitely an awesome deal. The sound of the case is just a tad quieter, but I dont think its any quieter than it was with the Lifeproof case. Overall I really like it so far. See how it goes over the next day of using it.

I actually like the opening for the atlas compared to the lifeproof. It is easier to open and seems like it would hold up better in the long run than the lifeproof bottom.

Ok, went and exchanged the one that I messed up lol. Managed to get the sticker off of this one(slowly) with very little residue left behind.

This one also passed the water test. Screen is crystal clear. Sound reverberates a bit inside the case when I play music(IMO, it's not that bad), but the earpiece sounds fine. I just bought a pair of LG tones so I don't think I'll be opening the headphone port very often.

So far, so good.

I knew my old HTC phone would come in handy for something :p . Here's some pics:

I couldn't wait any longer...

Although I pre-ordered the black/blue one on the first day, I haven't received a shipping notice yet, so I stopped by Verizon and picked up a black one. I have it in water now. I'll report back after I run it through it's paces.

Finally got my case with all the goodies too. Now to check it out. Doing water test first. Will let you all know how sound is once I get it on. First impression in regards to build, amazing! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1366404070.901361.jpg

Ok my review of the case,

Pros: thin, sturdy, glass screen, size, compact, home button protection.

Cons(just me BTW): the charge port door, sound is a bit quieter than the LP frē, home button might get annoying to some folks, and adds a bit of weight not by much prob due to the glass screen. Fricken install sheet was inside the closed case! <------ that's just me being picky.

This case really is Awesome, and prob the only real competition to the LifeProof case, there's nothing I really hate about it even the charge port door. It feels sturdier and stronger than the LP case and the fact that it has rubber protection on the inside back of the case is a bonus. No O-ring surrounds the case on the inside, it snaps easy on and off.
Everything works the same as the LP case with the volume buttons, and mute toggle. Sound is a bit quieter by prob 10% less than the LP frē case don't really notice it listening to music but is noticeable with the keyboard clicks.

Big Bonus: no oil slicks, newtons rings, waves, or bubble on the screen and what puts this case above the LP case is that fact. All calls made with no tunneling or echo feedback even with speakerphone and have had no issue with the proximity sensor.

I have to say goodbye to my LP case for now cause this Atlas case is flat out! Sorry LifeProof. :(

How is the sound coming out of your earpiece? Is it clear or does it vibrate some? I pretty much after an hour or 2 with it love everything about the case, I just have a vibration through the earpiece that kind of distorts the other persons voice, so didnt know if its all case problems or maybe its just with mine.

Water test passed. Sound quality with bottom cover on is just as bad as Lifeproof. Not impressed at this point.

I tested the call with my wife for about 30 mins and haven't had any issue with distortion, or vibration. Clarity is perfect with speakerphone and reg calls. Might be your case. BTW if you have any excess water in any of the ports it's going to distort and/or muffle the sound, try shaking it out with a quick wrist flip, had that same issue with the LIfeProof case. Or just try reseating the phone in the case.

I hear it too and turning it down a tad helps.. I may take it out and see if it is aligned properly as i have read that can be an issue.

First impressions:

Pros: Size is smaller than Otterbox Defender and Armor. Glass lens protector.

Cons: Sound sucks. Bottom cover is annoying. Some feedback on calls.

After a few hours of use I find that there are enough issues that I will move on to the armor and deal with the size. I am a professional musician and audiophile. While I don't expect my phone to produce anything more than passable audio, I do expect it to be rattle and distortion free. This is not the case with the Atlas I have. Although audio is significantly improved with the port cover open on the bottom, this is impractical if you wish for the phone to be water resistant, let alone water proof. I do find that you have to press a little more firmly on the screen to unlock the phone...this, however, is a minor annoyance and not a deal breaker.

The volume is significantly softer with the port cover closed. The rattle from the back of the case is totally unacceptable. I did get the crazy squeal on one call that I experienced with the lifeproof.

For just under $100.00 with tax, it is not what I was hoping and waiting (a long time) for.

Bummer, i have been holding off buying the Armor to see what the Atlas comes in like. I make and recieve alot of calls so looks like it is the Armor.

Ran into a problem. My girlfriend could barely hear me on speakerphone. Ok, fine. Took it off speakerphone and she said she could hear me perfectly...until the crazy high-pitched whining started. After the third time it happened in 5 minutes she begged me to remove the case.

I don't know what else to try. I've opened the case and reseated it so many times my fingertips are killing me.

Speck candyshell is back on for now.

Well if you expect it to be crystal clear with a water proof case you are crazy

Crystal clear no, sounding like a blown out speaker, no. With use mine is improving, but it needs to get a lot better even to compensate for the most awesome screen.

----------

Sound on the LP is waaay better so far. But did I mention the awesome glass screen that feels like a naked phone? :)

Gee you like throwing the insults, crazy, delusional, do you work for Atlas. Its a phone case and people are having problems with sound. Face the facts and move on.

Just received the atlas this morning. I ended up going to Verizon to switch out my life proof for it. First impressions.. It feels superrr rugged. This case just feels like a slim tank. All of the ports art tightly closed and the bottom of the case will not become worn out over time because of the hard rubber casing. Sound quality when talking is a step up from the life proof fre. I had my volume turned all of the way up on my fre whereas my atlas, it's only half way turned up and I can hear just fine. The clicking of the keys are slightly more muted then the life proof case. This case is easier than removing the life proof yet its more of a struggle. I definitely feel more confident while using this because of the thicker more durable material used. Now my own dislikes..the screen is my most complaint. Yes it's crystal clear and shows off the retina display like it deserves but it's so unresponsive in the corners. You have to press hard and sometimes it just doesn't work. I often miss keys while texting due to the lack of responsiveness. But at least there aren't any oil slicks or air bubbles. The screen sits flush with the iPhone glass screen. Another complaint would be the lack of grip on the case itself. Its so slick and slippery and will slide across a tile floor like butter. The fre at least had some grip to it. Those are my only complaints so far. All in all I love this case but looking back at my life proof, it thing was wrong with it. Just the annoying screen and quiet audio feedback when calling.

----------

Just to add, these 4 proof cases are made for that reason. So people complaint about calling and sound issues what do u expect? It's fully sealed. If you want perfect sound quality with a little water resistance just get the otterbox defender or don't jump on the otter box bandwagon and settle for a just as good if not better cheaper case.

One more thing, incipio insures that their case is flawless so they give you one free year of warranty on your phone and the case.
