I like how the bottom is cut so the sound doesn't get muffled.
Purchased from amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Incipio-Frequency-iPhone-Packaging-Obsidian/dp/B0098FKI3C/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1349972988&sr=8-9&keywords=incipio+iphone+5
For some reason my case for Feather started to peel as if I intentionally rubbed a sandpaper against it. It's really weird. No, I did not drop my phone against a cement or have it scraped against something really hard in surface that could have caused this. In general I have had pretty good experiences with all the brand products I purchase but after usage for a couple weeks of the Incipio Feather I don't know what to do with it. Any others experience this kind of tragedy with their case? Or is it just me??

Does anyone have pictures of the Gray Feather on a black phone?
I have the red, used heavy for about a week and has not happened/started for me....Take a pic and send to CS, they will replace.
Checked out the reviews for the Casemate Barely There on Amazon. Not good. I'll stick with the Feather.

My feather has a few small scratches on the bottom where some gray metallic color shows through the matte black finish. Hasn't gotten worse after several weeks, so I can live with it. Have read other complaints which are much worse. Seems Incipio has some QC issues. I'd contact them and see if they will replace your case.

It seems to be quite common issue with Feather for iP5, that the color wears out very quickly from the case. The same thing happened to me after less than two weeks of use. When I contacted amazon they refunded the case immediately, without any need to return the damaged case. There are also similar comments in the customer reviews in amazon.
I think you will like it. I tried about 30 cases on my iPhone 4 before finally settling on the Speck Pixelskin HD. I'm very fussy!
With my iPhone 5 the Frequency is the first case I bought and probably the last (unless I get bored). I realise different people have different needs, but for me personally I think Incipio nailed it.
If I was buying again and I could not have the Frequency I would go for the Switcheasy Tones.
