$19.99 at wal mart (wally world). TPU texture, similar size and build as the geometric (and supposedly pixelskin hd which I'm getting through the Apple case program any day now). Decided to get because I heard the new build Pixelskin hd's aren't that great.

Comes with a screen protector too but I haven't put it on yet. Dang, you really can't beat the price or quality.

With the geometric (which I really like, daily driver up until now), there's a bit of wiggle with the phone in the case. Not at all with the NGP matte. It's slightly thicker, negligibly so in the hand but good for protection. Looks great too.

I really really like it. I doubt I'll return it. If I get tired of the smoke look, which looks awesome, I'll rotate it with the geometric and pixelskin hd.

RECOMMENDED!

From reading this forum, it doesn't seem like you can. Only in walmart stores (strange exclusivity)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

I got this case for the wife. She loves it.

The fit is near perfect, it doesn't interfere with the SPG screen protector, it has a lip around the front to protect the screen from face-down scratches. The buttons press smoothly and the Incipio logo is tastefully subdued. Flash interference is minimal.

The only knocks against the one I purchased was that the headphone hole wasn't perfectly centered (but not enough to be a problem) and there were some very small molding marks here and there around the edge. (you have to look for them though)

I second your recommendation. For a minimalist look with excellent protection, this thing is a steal at $20.

Yeah the headphone port could be larger, but it fits with my px100's.

Not with my shure scl4's though. I would imagine it works with most reasonably sized headphone ports. It works with my cassette adapter too.

Cool case for sure. Even if I like the Pixelskin HD that comes in the mail, i think it might be cool to have 3 similarly sized TPU cases all different styles: this, geometric, pixelskin hd.

Plus I hate walmart haha. Really confused as to why they got the exclusive on the smokey color. Oh well. Maybe an error?

shots with geometric for comparison. I apologize that some are "flash nuked" (2nd and 3rd ones)

Incipio looks better in person than in photos. Geometric looks better sometimes in person and other times worse. I think it depends on lighting and the angle honestly.

You can buy these on www.tipb.com

Lots of places sell the NGP matte. But the opaque smoke color is only available at Wal Mart for whatever reason. I don't give Wally world the benefit of the doubt and just want to say it was a distribution channel error :p Since when does wal mart ever get nice exclusives? NEVER! This is a first.

Do want. I too am rocking the Geometric right now with a PixelSkin HD case on it's way eventually through the case program. This one looks like a winner though. The fit and material of the Geometric is very good, so I'm glad that this is the same. The minimalist look and see-thru to the Apple info on back put it over the top.

This case looks very nice. I just got the iSkin solo's and their ok but the back is a little grippy. But i do like the texture on the sides of it and by the looks of it this incipio case looks to be the same texture.

they're both TPU but different types:

NGP matte is like PixelSkin HD and Geometric. You have to feel them to know what I mean. It's a tougher TPU and thicker.

iSkin solo looks like the Grip Vue, more flexible and thinner TPU. A lot like the Luxury Mobile Argyle case I got from a kiosk in the mall.

I knew most of this. What I was saying is that the sides of the iSkin solo's have a different texture than the back, It's like a papery kinda feeling. It's not something that would show fingerprints or like stick to the table. It looks just like the NGP matte. Tho im not sure. might check for a youtube review of it.

Also I know the old version had these little like... imperfections all around the cutouts and buttons, Is that still true with the revised/wallmart one?

Damn doggfather...you're really hyping the case that I put you on to, aren't you? :D:D It's a great case, that's for sure. And for anyone wanting to know, officially Incipio calls this case color "Translucent Mercury". As far as being able to order it anywhere, when I had them replace mine due to a stretching issue, Wal-Mart is the only place that has them currently according to Incipio's CS. But Incipio does stock them for warranty purposes, but does not sell them directly. It's NOT the "gunmetal" option they list online. That case isn't translucent.

Hyping it up just a little. Besides the bumper and argyle (neither I trust for protection) I don't have any cases that show off the i4 design. When I heard the freebie pixelskin he's were no good, I sprung for this case. Solid feeling.

Incipio knows how to price things well too

Looks like my free PS HD will be here tomorrow, but the latest reviews disappoint me. How's the button feel with this one? Maybe I'll swing by Wal-Mart tomorrow and pick it up.

buttons feel great. everything is easy to hit.

the volume buttons stick out slightly against the edge and require no force.

the lock button is flush with the case but requires no effort either.

Not unlike the Geometric where the volume buttons and lock button stick out a lot!

I don't mind either though. But if I had to take my pick, I like the buttons being more flush, looks snazzier.

I hope my PS HD is here tomorrow too :)

Even if it's great, I'm holding onto the Incipio. it just looks and feels so great.

That's cool...I think I saw it today, because I went case scouting once I read that the Apple PS HD stinks. Wish I had seen this thread just a biiiiiiiiit earlier. :)

So if the PS HD comes tomorrow and is blah, I'll probably go out and see if I can snag this thing.

wally world is the last place i'd look for a nice case, let alone set foot in that corporate flea market.

But what do you know, it's a diamond in the rough.

I hear ya. I went there figuring there was a 2% chance I'd find an original PS HD. No luck, of course.

My wife got the Griffin Motif one as her freebie, and it's better than I expected. The feel is nice; I'm just not a a fan of the diamond pattern.

I dunno of any physical stores that sell the pixelskin hd or geometric for that matter. Speck should have chose some retail outlets. Oh well....

I could've sworn that I saw it an AT&T store a month ago, but I'm really not sure. Regardless, I didn't find one tonight.

I still don't know what they were thinking changing the material. Why mess with what was a winning formula?

Microcenters sometimes carry Speck's full line. The store closest to me has the PixelSkin (regular) and PixelSkin HD's in stock, plus the CandyShells. No Geometrics yet though.
