My 13 Pro Max upundexing move from 72% to 94% today, after stuck at 72% for 3 days. Hope it will complete indexing dpsoon. I will lrpftbit plufpgged in with screen off

I have been 12 days in using iOS27 Developer Beta on my 15 Pro and it is still reporting "Indexing in Progress" with 95% completed. It has been on this state of progress for a seven days now . . . my device is not in low power mode and is typically plugged in during the morning and fully charged. My Air has completed indexing and no longer has the "Indexing in Progress" status when going into Settings.

Just wondering if it takes much longer for indexing to fully complete on older devices as my 13 mini still has this status when going into Settings on that device as well. I installed iOS27 on my 15 Pro and 13 mini on the same day just for reference.

On my 13 mini, it shows Indexing in Progress status to be at 55% and I place this device plugged in and low power set to off and the status has not changed on this device as well.

Weird one here; after 10 days. Still wasn’t completed, I had reinstalled iOS 26 but had to go back to iOS 27, as I can’t downgrade my watch os 27. Indexing completed within 1 day after flashing iOS 27. Siri had completed the waitlist just before it

Mine is still indexing.
Same here is crazy. 17Pro charging 12-15 hours a day. Dint make sence. Hopefully B2 will fix this. My brothers same phone never on WiFi only charges when dead and his is done. Although no Siri. I would downgrade if not so close to B2.

Still on indexing but I finally got the smart Siri and just saying, it is ACTUALLY SMART 🫪🤯

tried it out a little with some easy questions and some harder ones, did really well pulling from multiple apps and all the other stuff I tried out. Using the AI to make shortcuts was fun although I didn't really need them....

overall though I am not impressed necessarily, just satisfied that we finally have what we were promised two years ago....definitely still gonna file in that AI lawsuit though if i ever get the email

This actually makes a lot of sense to me... If you had to wipe the phone indexing wouldn't take long at all.

My 13 Pro Max indexing stuck at 72% for over 4 days, then progress to 94%. After that, the indexing start sticking again at 94% for two days now. I keep my iPhone plugged in and screen off for two days now. Still sticking. I think the indexing should be better. Hope Apple will seriously look into this issue and have it fixed

My 17pro shows the indexig message after nearly two weeks, too.
I think it's just a bug, I don't have big libraries, I don't have a lot of data - not on the phone, not in the cloud.
But it's just a message in the settings app, so I don't care for it. I think it will be solved with one of the next beta updates.

Mine finished around two hours ago, installed within minutes of the beta being released.

iPhone 15 Pro with around 80GB of documents in iCloud.

I left my 13 mini on the magsafe puck overnight and this morning I’m still seeing the device is still indexing . . .

So, does something not work? You really do have to ignore the indexing. It means nothing. iPhones have always done indexing. We just haven't seen the messages before. I'm not sure why Apple decided to show it. Especially without explanation.

So far everything has been working fine on my 13 mini since upgrading to iOS27. My Air was upgraded as well and no longer has that “Indexing in Progress” status in Settings menu. I think being iOS27 Developer beta, Apple programmers decided to activate this notice while indexing is in progress but I don’t understand why my device seems to be stuck on 55% complete when connected to a power source with 100% battery charge and low power mode not active?

I understand Apple devices have always performed indexing of files after every OS update and in the past have not “advertised” Indexing in Progress in the Settings menu.

I’m seeing the same thing on my iPad Pro M5 but at 95% completion and it is also connected to a power source every night and has 100% battery charge when I pick it up. With my M5 iPad I would have expected indexing to be done much quicker but this is not what I have been observing. Nevertheless, all devices seem to be operating normally since the OS update.

I'm still indexing and suspect it is linked to my mail accounts and probably my Gmail. I've noticed that if you search in Mail in iOS it displays a message "Updating Mail Search" at the top of the screen so something is clearly still ongoing there. I've also recently bought a NEO and Mail is still downloading with 80,000 messages to go days later. It appears to be a very slow process.

Mines the same, but my mail is only about 450 MB and been going for a week now.
