Mine is still indexing on both iPhone Pro Max 16 and iPad Pro M4. I installed within an hour of Keynote. Also, Still waiting on the new Siri (assume index is blocking that). I wish there was some way to see how far the index has gone. (btw surprised the devices are not getting hot, since that is what usually happens).

Mine is still indexing a day and a half later. I wish the notification in settings had a percentage done or ETA.

Is this also indexing data in iCloud? Seems like there should be a server side process to complete that portion of it.

Is the message right at the top as soon as you open settings? I just did the update and dont see an indexing message. The phone is hot so it's obviously doing something in the background. I just dont see the notice in settings as of right now. It's only been 15 or so minutes since the update finished though. Anyone have a screenshot of the message?

Man… what’s going to suck is that they are going to keep changing the “indexing”… and their will be certain updates will force everybody’s phone to re-index… Not to mention going to the GM release..

(I’m not that environmental friendly, but think about how much power is going to be wasted world wide on indexing/reindexing)…

48 hours on my iPad Pro. No change. Still indexing. This could just be a bug🤷‍♂️
It’s not a bug. The thing is that in the past it wasn’t front and center right on the top of the settings page letting people know…. This is why everyone is freaking out about it. Apple should have just left it in the background
