Hi everyone! Those form India, we aren't getting macs from China and is being shipped from India plant and those who pre ordered should expect it to be shipped in 2-3 days time as it going through final testing phase.
Wow that's really slowWho are you talking to here? I ordered on 11th, still says processing.
They don’t treat the Indian market with priority. Sad thing is in premium laptops category everything is grossly overpriced here. Surface and XPS are overpriced by 100% in some cases. At least with MacBooks you only have to pay 25-30% extra and they hold value comparatively well while reselling compared to others.Wow that's really slow
Why is Apple so slow in delivery in india 😕
What's your expected delivery date by the way?

It’s 26th Nov - 02nd Dec. Don’t think it’s an accurate prediction. Just something they put out on early orders.True...what's your delivery date according to Apple by the way?
Did you try contacting support yet? It’s 26th Nov - 02nd Dec. Don’t think it’s an accurate prediction. Just something they put out on early orders.
Couldn’t find a chat option. Didn’t bother calling. It will come when it will come. Have you also ordered?Did you try contacting support yet?
Not sure but hoping it isIs it applicable for customised 16gb versions also?
I was talking to Apple chat support. I also pre-ordered on 11th. It’s still in processing and I asked why it’s still in processing when my deliver date is estimated from Nov 26-Dec 2. They were like it’s being tested, packed and will make sure the best machine with no defects are only packed and sent. Since it’s being shipped from India plant, don’t worry it’ll change in the next couple of days it seems and they confirmed there’s no delay for us.Who are you talking to here? Which reseller? Could you please share the link? Also any offers by them?I think the resellers are taking preorders. Saw 3rd December as a potential date on one of them. So shouldn’t be long now.
Hahaha I know right! Made in India will be a collectors piece and I’d love to keep it forever!Usually nearly everything is made in China. Having an M1 that will be stamped 'made in India' will be a collectors piece.

I just talked to Apple support and they said my customised mac mini order is NOT coming from India plant but it’s coming from overseas plant. 😕I was talking to Apple chat support. If you take the market seriously you can get around these. Samsung’s premium phones are competitively priced (same price as US in most cases). OnePlus is cheaper here. Xiaomi is coming out with laptops which are very good value for money.Isn't that though partially due to Indian tariffs on imports? With different facilities opening in India I would think some items should come down in price if for no other reason than tariffs would no longer apply.

I guess it depends on models. I posted what Apple told me for MBA 8GB 512GBA members post said their M1 mini is comming from an overseas plant therefore I have to ask, is there any evidence that the Apple plant in India is actually making M1 machines?
When you get yours you will have to see if it says 'made in India' because that would be so cool if it is OR it will say 'Assembled in India'. Depends on the law i suppose because I know in Europe, a product has to be correctly identified as either being 'made' in a country or 'assembled' in a country, because there is a difference.I’m
