Initial Orders for New Apple TV Being Prepared for Shipment

Looks like Apple put a couple units on a plane to feed the media hype. Rest is now 4-5 days on a container ship somewhere between Hong Kong and their final destination. Happy waiting 😎
 
Those FedEx and Apple delivery estimates are apparently WAY conservative.

Apple delivery estimate: October 4th.

FedEx deliver estimate: October 5th.

Delivery was attempted at my house TODAY (September 30th) while I was at work. I'm picking it up at the FedEx center on my way home!

(I ordered Sep 1 @ 9:55 pm).
 
I hate FedEX they are lying sacks of ****. It says "attempted to deliver." I had it sent to my parents house, they never left the house all day. Driver probably parked his truck and took a nap in the rain, rather then deliver packages.
 
Mine finally left Anchorage, after sitting there for a day. FedEx says it will be here on Oct 5, but that seems ridiculous. It should get to Chicago overnight, and if it misses the cutoff, at the very latest it will be here Saturday.

Uhm, this is a thread on the new Apple TV. And the new LED displays were available last week, or at least in store on Sunday here in SoCal.

Weird, I am 100% positive (just checked my history) I started editing the one entitled "27-Inch LED Cinema Displays Shipping For Delivery Tomorrow, Apple TV Orders Being Charged." Maybe it's cuz I left the comment edit window open for a long time without editing it.

And I do believe I said "first one shipped." Not necessarily in stores. Besides, last week, I visited the Apple store, and while they had a display model, they had none in stock. You're just jealous. 😉

Not jealous, my 23" display is just fine. And people had them delivered last week, so what took your's so long if it was shipped first? https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1019246/
