why? he didn't say anything bad about PCs. He did sort of diss on intel, though, and that's fun.Nor was it right, proper, mature etc.... for apple to use the "i'm a PC" guy at their so called event.

A lot of those still apply to almost the entire Apple Mac computer lineup.Actually, those are my dongles, Intel. I put them down to help you carry your windows dongles out to the truck.

So they dissed back and apple fanboys get up in arms. See how that works?why? he didn't say anything bad about PCs. He did sort of diss on intel, though, and that's fun.
how many times have you needed more than 13 hrs of battery life and been away from a power source?A lot of those still apply to almost the entire Apple Mac computer lineup.

HA HA. Intel is great, even more so if you need to use multiple core applications. Since the intel macbooks are still faster than the m1 at that. The Mjesus is far from AMAZING. yes it does good at battery life, and decent at single core applications, but meh, it's not the second coming of christ.Sometimes, iThink I'm the only one left that still is OK with Intel...sometimes...

HA HA HA. thats funny S*&T right there. I don't care who you are, thats funny right there.Who is up in arms? I haven't seen anybody riled up at all.

I know it was a joke. I still want to know how many times have people been away from a power source for more than 13 hrs. On either side of the computing coin.![]()
The generator was probably in reference to the fact that Intel processors need a LOT of power; AMD 5800x runs at around 112w peak power while a slower Intel 10700k runs at around 145w and 212w if overclocked to 5.1ghz to compete.
But, on the topic of battery life, since you think that we should be content with needing to recharge; less charge cycles mean the battery will retain it's original capacity in the long run. And since Apple's kind of enough to make batteries almost impossible to swap yourself, this is a REAL problem.
Ha ha. point proven. thanks.
I will celebrate the day when makers of “pro” devices all universally recognize USBC is better that USB3, FireWire, HDMI, mini USB, micro USB, USB-B and p/s2I will celebrate the day on wich apple moves away from being USB-C online and finally makes their MacBooks "Pro" again.
Not on my iPad or iPhone bought in 2019?
😂They have a point about dongles
now that NVIDIA owns ARM
A computer in 2021 needs classic fat USB. Everybody uses it daily.
Not yet they don't - and probably won't either.
Anecdotally speaking, I plug in my iPad to charge only at night. For the rest of the day, it's with me everywhere I go. To class, in meetings. I like that my iPad Pro has enough battery life to last an entire day of usage and I don't have to worry about it running out of battery in the middle of my lessons. Just last Monday, my meeting lasted from 8 to 3 and my iPad Pro was perfect for referencing documents in split-screen mode. In between messaging friends and doing other misc stuff.how many times have you needed more than 13 hrs of battery life and been away from a power source?
Haha good point! I wish Intel took a more wholesome route and did a mini documentary on their 53 year history and achievements instead. Something that would offer people a new perspective and encourage more respect for the company.Just as pathetic as apple with their PC guy at the end of the circle "j$(K" session that was the M1 release. Got to love charts and numbers with no specific information, just "look here at these charts" we got to be better type. Great for the typical apple follower.
