Only better for gaming the rest , under the roots its still win10 with different UI
Nah usually Windows Apps are far more advanced and mature than macOS Apps.
On Windows you can use all kind of Apps and Hardware, which makes it far more productive and flexible.

The macOS UI is fine but sadly it is becoming too iPad'ish, and macOS also has an unmaintained Unix+Tools beneath, but that's all. Beside Games, there are many "professional" Software types for Windows which never existed for macOS. Simply because it does not worth developing these Software types for macOS. macOS is fine for Office, Apple Ecosystem Software development, bit of Video editing and Music creation, and few other minor things.

But real business and productive Apps are primary being used on Windows and Linux, Software types that keeps the World running.

E.g. CATIA, SolidWorks, ProEngineer
Even the Milling Machines that Apple uses to manufacture their devices runs on Windows or Linux.
Most Animation Studio Pipelines are build on Windows and Linux.
Whole Cloud Clusters runs on Windows, Linux, FreeBSD.
Even Apples own AppStore is build on top of JAVA running on Linux.
All the AAA+ PC and Console Games are developed primary on Windows.
Medical devices runs mainly on Windows, Linux.
And there is so much more...

Not that it wouldn't be possible to run these Software on macOS, but macOS running on Apple Hardware is too inflexible, and just build for the low tech consumers.

I mean look at the Hardware that Apple offers, it's a joke, even when they used Intel as CPU.
They always offered older CPUs, older GFX, slower RAMs, etc. and all for twice the price.

With a PC and Windows you simply get more bang for your bucks.

Intel needs Microsoft Windows 11 to boost sales. Microsoft, being a close partner of Intel, will oblige, so that they both benefit.

Did you swallow the Microsoft marketing pill with your breakfast? :)

I'd have more faith if it were you saying it's just like MacOS only better rather than "they".
I love Apple hardware and I use both OS's every day, but I have to say, I would never use MacOS if I weren't tied into Logic. I have an M1 Macbook pro that I use for that but all of our Imacs are Bootcamped into Windows 10. We are very satisfied with that arrangement. I think I would give up the hardware before a MacOS only scenario.

I doubt it.
All the reviews I have seen about windows 11 are awesome. and all the parts to the new OS are not even there yet.

Which means lots of new pc's are going to be purchased.

I'm building an AMD box.

But Still.

LOOKS LIKE WINDOWS 11 IS A SUCCESS. They say it's just like MacOs only better!
I didn't know Paul Thurrott posted on macrumors. Hi, Paul 👋

That's funny 'cause I have never been as productive on Windows as I am on a Mac.

The way people talk about the "Control Panel vs Settings" saga... you'd think that's all they ever do in Windows 10.

Look... if having a couple places to change settings is the worst part of Windows... I'd say it's fine.

Let's not forget how some iOS apps have their settings inside the app... while you have to go to the actual Settings app to change others.

:p

Intel should listen to their shareholders and exit CPU market.
in PC world AMD completely overtook them,Apple is doing it’s own thing for Mac and iOS and Qualcomm is feeding Android market.
But I think there is some benefit and that’s creating some competition between AMD / Intel so AMD won’t get lazy like Intel did a while back.

I don't imagine the Apple market is worth much for Intel, I can see their stock falling for combination of reasons:-

1-Lost Apple
2-AMD gaining market share
3-Nvidia buying ARM, speculation of new competitor in the market
4-failed at phone modems
5-lost their cool factor as a brand, everyone is laughing at them.
6-News that Microsoft is investing in ARM devices

exit CPU market? all they do is build CPUs?

Funny how Apple (fanboy) website always assume that CPU market is affected by Apple products.
As if AMD and Intel depend on Apple… Clearly NVIDIA is also doing perfectly fine without Apple!

Both Intel and AMD are doing greate in the x86 market!
putting you derogatory nature aside, yes intel sells apple chips and so when apple stops buying Intel chips their market share goes down. If you meant by fanboy, someone who is simply literate in math, then you are correct. The only saint point you can dig out of the post, is that yes, Apple market share is 10% (that seems high to me) . the equation would be: Intel/(intel + AMD) prior to Apple silicon, then Intel/(Intel + Apple + AMD) for after. See, simple,

Maybe it will fall also due to amd latest cpu that a lot of windows OEM took into consideration
Nah. AMD could make a CPU that outperforms Intel by 20x at a 50% lower power level and, because physically not able to make enough, they wouldn’t have the impact on Intel that Apple will have.

Let me guess, It may fall as much as the market share of macOS? Great prediction.

Furthermore, the M market share will rise as much as the market share of macOS? Great prediction.

More interestingly is how much market share will Intel loose to AMD. That is the prediction that matters.

More interestingly is how much market share will macOS take to Windows (both Intel and AMD). That is the prediction that matters.

6-News that Microsoft is investing in ARM devices
1. Apple is about 8% of recent marketshare
4. Apparently they are re-entering modem market (more late than never)
6. rumors to continue selling low volumes LOL

This has pretty much always been the case, but the massive majority of people either don’t care, or won’t spend Apple money on a computer. That’s why the ‘flocking’ to Apple has never happened.
The flocking is happening, it’s just not visible to the PC versus Mac crowd. Over the past several years, Apple has sold more iPads than HP and Dell has sold laptops.

Apple is not a big player in computer segment, I mean not as big, as they try/like to present it in the media. Maybe in the U.S.A., but outside... not really.

Even in the United States of America, Apple's share is about 15%

And these statistics don't count the builds/components, which people buy separately and assemble themselves.

So this "rumor" or speculation of Intel falling because of Apple is a bit misleading... if Intel's share will fall is because of AMD in the x86 segment.
