Intel to Introduce Wi-Fi 7 in 2024 as Apple Plans Imminent Move to Wi-Fi 6E

I know some that went up in the attic and cut cables and did other intentional stuff. I just shook my head in disgust.
I have my aging in laws living with us. If devices can be set up wired that is one less password entry I am going to be asked for. In the last year I have seen so many things happen with passwords and connectivity. Like in the movie "something about Mary", how did you get the beans above the frank crosses my mind way too many times in the last year. lol
The wiring cost $50 a drop if I terminated and did the finishing work myself. To me it was surely worth it.
i agree only for the passwords. i have 64 (random) characters on my 3 ssid's (2.4n, 5n, 5ac), and inputting them on a device where i cant copy/paste its a nightmare. even worse if after i made a typo it deletes it and have start from begin

64 characters? Having over 90 devices I would have to hire someone to set up my wireless network.
Luckily the amazon alexa stuff auto connects new devices.

I will gladly take my lumps about using wired and in turn enjoy the time and frustration it saves me.

u mean alexa autoconnects its devices or its a feature that helps to connect also not alexa related devices??
You can have the devices preregistered at purchase, once power is applied it’s already registered in your Alexa app which supplies the Wi-Fi info.

However, it’s up to 3 devices per purchase (order)
If you need 6 devices, you need to do 3 orders
