The big question now is - where are they being shipped from?

If they are shipped from China, I do not think that they can be delivered by Friday. If they are shipped from within the country where the order was placed, then they can be here on Friday.

Does anyone know what carrier is used to ship the phones in vancouver Canada? My building has an interphone and when I get a package they NEVER ring my apartment, they just say I wasn't home. If I know I could possibly call them to pick it up myself or something...

i would like to use the same number as my 3gs o2 sim card.. dont want the phone to come and i can't do nothing with it because i dont have the sim

You probably need the IMEI number which you won't have till you get the phone for them to switch it over.

It looks like they are using UPS this time round. Although in previously they had used FEDEX. You should have included your buzz code in your shipping address. As with UPS or FEDEX, they do not allow package to be held for pickup until the first attempted delivery had been made. You could perhaps call UPS and tell them to add your buzz code info to the current shipping address.

UK customer

If you're in the UK then check your inboxes! My delivery email from apple just came through at 1.30am this morning and shows that the estimated delivery is the 14th :) The Courier is 'SYNCREON PARCEL DELIVERY' and although their website tracking doesn't give me an exact eta as of yet, it clearly states that my parcel is in the UK :)

Except for the people in the UK thread.

Oh. Well, that happened only 4 minutes before my post, and is without doubt the first one outside of the US. Glad to see they've been shipped.

If this is for real this is amazing, and probably is the same as Aussie. If the iPhones are already in our countries we may be seeing them tomorrow after all. :D

Surprised no one from Australia has chimed in with tracking info they were the first to go to prepared for shipping

Sorry still new to forums so only just got this up!

Can you confirm that your phone is definitely in the UK? If this is true then Apple has just trolled us all, allowing those Americans to track their phones all the way from China and not telling us it's been shipped out until it's in our countries! :p

more screens for you guys...

Apple should work harder this time...Steve Jobs has already made his name and most of their buyer trust apple because of him..now that hes gone they should work on a good market...

So to any of the 'Gods' listening, please make sure the roads from Hinckley are clear as I really want my iPhone 4s after the evening from hell of installing iOS 5 on my old, but still loved, 3Gs :) Will update with any further info once I've had a few hours kip!

Yes. I did this on Monday. Just explain that your getting an iPhone and you need a microsim. They'll give you a sim card that has a micro size sim that is inside a normal size sim.

Then, you go to www.o2.co.uk/swapmysim. It'll lead you through the sim swap. Basically, you put your phone number in and the text you a code. Then you put in the serial number printed on the new sim. Once that's done, they'll deactivate your old sim and switch your number to the new one. Then just turn off your 3GS and pop the normal size sim out of the card and replace your old sim.

They say it can take up to 24 hours to activate the new sim, but it usually happens much quicker. When your new iPhone arrives, just pop Thr micro sim out of the normal size sim bit and put it in your new phone.

Yay! I have been moved to preparing to ship! Ontario Canada--64G Black! I may just get this thing Friday if they move quick!

Canadians who have pre-ordered an iPhone 4S from Telus:

I just got off the phone with one of their Client Care representatives and he informed me that Telus' iPhone 4S shipments will indeed begin shipping on October 13th 2011. He didn't specify a time but he did say that they are definitely shipping on the 13th. He also mentioned that the reason why Telus customers aren't able to track their iPhones on FedEx or UPS like people from the US and even internationally is because they are not coming from China or the US. Telus' iPhone 4S shipments are coming from within a distribution centre in Canada. The last but probably most important bit of information he gave me was that the order in which the phones are delivered in is not going to happen sequentially but rather based on location. The closer you live from where ever the distribution centre is the sooner you'll receive your iPhone 4S. Obviously things like the weather, traffic, etc must be taken into consideration but he assured me that all Telus clients upgrading from existing contracts or buying into new ones will be receiving their pre-ordered iPhone 4S sometime between October 14th-18th. If you have not received your phone by that time than you should call Telus Client Care immediately.

Are there many people in Canada who have "processing" still?
It's been 4 hours and my other iphone hasn't changed to prepared for shipment!
