And also can i cancel the reservation once i reserved?
Now since it has come into the "preparing to ship" mode you can't cancel it online... You have to wait for it to reach you then take it back to the store... Or I guess you can cancel it on the phone...
I have tried since Monday at 9 pm and couldn't get one. Yesterday I tried again at 9 sharp and after 30 min of refreshing the page and going back and forth I was able to reserve the white 64gb. Yesterday apple stores had only the white models in stock.
Yes you can cancel the reservation, you either do not show up the day of pick up or click cancel on the reservation email.

Same order date. I am in Halifax and my 2 phones are shipping today via FEDex. Happy it wasn't UPS.
Great news! As previously said, I ordered on the 9th in Germany so hopefully mine will ship soon. It's still showing "Processing" though...
Shipped at 6:22AM Central Time this morning. Shipped via FedEx, which is strange to me as everything else I've bought from them has been with UPS. Meh, whatever. Set to arrive by the 27th/28th.

Apple said 28th... Tracking says 26th.. But it is already on its way from hong-kong... It is Fedex, so I expect it to arrie by the 25th... If it would have been UPS I would have been sure about end of next week... All orders sem to be shipped through fedex now...

I'm from Ireland and the 4S is due out on Oct 28th here.
The preorder's started yesterday so I ordered online as soon as they went up. Shipping says 1-2 weeks with an estimated date of Nov 4-10th.
Does this mean I defintely won't have the phone until then or is there a chance I could have it on launch day?

Same here I ordered on the 7th from Toronto. It has now been shipped it says i should get it by Oct 26 by 6PM. I can't wait!!

Mine are due the 28th but FedEx says the 27th. Usually Apple shipments via FedEx from Chine are earlier than UPS and the estimates however spending the day in HK did not help.

I pre-ordered mine on the 7th (Aussie), sat in 'processing items' then 'preparing for shipment' for ages - finally got a notification about an hour ago that it shipped
Clicked on the tracking number and the TNT site told me it had already been delivered ..... to Germany
15 minutes later it shows the German delivery + mine - apparently TNT reuses tracking numbers.
Anyways, allegedly it should be delivered by the 26th - way longer than it should have taken from a preorder on the day they opened up, but I'm pleased it's finally on it's way.
Yes & in the past FedEx has always been at least a day early. Still no movement.
