Since it's affecting the all 3 carriers, it's impossible to dump them. Directly or indirectly all cellular traffic goes through their networks.Dumped them years ago thankfully.
You can do better with no sacrifice.Yup - prices have come down significantly and if you are on a business plan like I am the cost is only $8 a day for unlimited. Yes, you can find cheaper plans but prefer to use my US number
Same reason why Microsoft feels the need to change product names every few years (E.g. MSN Search, Windows Live Search, Live Search, Bing - it’s still the same MSN Search). The marketing people feel they have to justify their existence if they’re not (re)naming or (re)designing brands.I do wonder why so many companies feel the need to change their logo every few years.
Look at Coca Cola and IBM, they've kept their logos the same for decades and are doing fine.
Even Apple has, technically; they dropped the colors in the 90s but the overall logo has been the same since 1977.
If you call and yell at the front line workers they can fix it immediately by pressing the “fix it now” button.I'm always curious with issues like this, do people seriously think that a vendor is just going to sit around and not work on the problem? While their networks aren't as robust as they like us to think, they are going to resolve these issues if nothing else to avoid government hassling them for causing an outage.
Verizon international here in Baja MX same!I have Cricket (AT&T) and experienced and outage in Mexico. I knew something was wrong .. sad to hear it has affected all carriers
Don't think this one is Verizon, I was really pissed as well, dropped when really needed. Jumped on a WiFi and found it's a pretty huge issue not just Verizon. 🤷🏼♂️This screwed me so bad yesterday in Mexico City. Carrier left us out to dry. I’m leaving Verizon over this. What I went through yesterday when this randomly happened in a random neighborhood of CDMX I will never forgive this company for.
Yeah well I spent 50 minutes on the phone with a CS rep yesterday to fix the issue and not only did they repeatedly tell me that there was nothing wrong with the network, the end result was that my number was removed from my phone entirely and I had to buy a Mexican eSIM. Add to that I wasn’t in the best area so with all that it was screw job.Don't think this one is Verizon, I was really pissed as well, dropped when really needed. Yeah I told the other guy I was on the phone with a rep for 50 minutes and he said over and over there was nothing wrong with the network. Then he screwed up my eSIM so my number was removed from my phone and I had to get another eSIM. So it SCREWED me hard in a tough area of CDMX. How about you keep your opinion to yourself when you don’t know the details? It was a horrible screw job for me.If you read the article, you'd know that the problem affected other carriers. So, who will you switch to since many carriers were affected. And apparently, the problem is with a company that handles international calls for many carriers. Your outrage is directed at the wrong entity!
I love how all of these people are disagreeing with me like I didn’t have a horrible experience in Mexico City over this issue. It’s actually a personal thing and you people shouldn’t really have an opinion at all. Pretty rude. This screwed me so bad yesterday in Mexico City. Carrier left us out to dry. This is not a Verison problem. It happened to many other carriers at the same time. The fault is with a little-known company who's job is to switch users between carriers. This screwed me so bad yesterday in Mexico City. Carrier left us out to dry. I’m leaving Verizon over this. What I went through yesterday when this randomly happened in a random neighborhood of CDMX I will never forgive this company for.
I agree, everyone including you has a right to be irrational.I love how all of these people are disagreeing with me like I didn’t have a horrible experience in Mexico City over this issue. It’s actually a personal thing and you people shouldn’t really have an opinion at all. Pretty rude.
That’s actually surprising. Since you’d think AT&T in Mexico would roam on… AT&T Mexico. Odd that they’d rely on a 3rd party to connect the two.I have Cricket (AT&T) and experienced and outage in Mexico. I knew something was wrong .. sad to hear it has affected all carriers
At least one forum member agrees with you here, non ironically. If you call and yell at the front line workers they can fix it immediately by pressing the “fix it now” button.
You just have to yell at them the right way for the right amount of time until they are willing to press the button.
Many try, but the correct combination of screaming and timing is elusive.

Per my count, this is the sixth sign of the Apocalypse. I might have missed one or two.Yes, an Apple Pay outage is one of the signs.
Netflix adding a tier with ads comes to mind.Per my count, this is the sixth sign of the Apocalypse. I might have missed one or two.
