Verizon payed how much for a rebrand with that unimpressive logo change when they should be focusing on their network, rates, and business strategy. Hans Vestberg is such a nitwit and derelict in running a company. It’s honestly not surprising we’re having these network issues.

Well you could have gone to a cafe and used the internet
thanks for the tip! I stood on WiFi at American Eagle for 50 minutes on the phone with Verizon while they screwed me further, removed my eSIM, and ensured I had no service when I landed in Chicago.

Really, awesome tip. So helpful! Thank you.

I can confirm this is an issue that affects at least one non US carrier as well The notwegian MNO Ice communications has had issues with roaming for a few days now

Yeah well I spent 50 minutes on the phone with a CS rep yesterday to fix the issue and not only did they repeatedly tell me that there was nothing wrong with the network, the end result was that my number was removed from my phone entirely and I had to buy a Mexican eSIM. Add to that I wasn’t in the best area so with all that it was screw job.
Well they were at least half right there was nothing wrong with either verizons network or rthe network you were roaming on (probably) the issue was with a third party service both networks use. I know it's of little comfort to you as a consumer when **** doesn't work, but at least you weren't technically lied to

One of the terrible things about this is that the telecomms are never forthcoming about the nature and cause of these issues. Whether it is a software update gone bad, or whether it is something more nefarious such as a cyberattack

When there are major network disruptions like this, customers, shareholders, and stakeholders are owed an explanation about what is causing these disruptions
True they wouyld have saved themselves quit a bit of bad press if they'd just sent out e-mails saying that "We have issues with roaming, and we are working with our partners to sort it out" Instead ofd leaving pedople in the dark and with frustrations

I do wonder why so many companies feel the need to change their logo every few years.

Look at Coca Cola and IBM, they've kept their logos the same for decades and are doing fine.

Even Apple has, technically; they dropped the colors in the 90s but the overall logo has been the same since 1977.

I've been through such changes with several companies and it seems that every time when new management arrives they feel the need to leave their ****-print on the company. Even when all operations/sales are top notch, the logo is proven to be known everywhere and has a positive image, these people still want to change it. Some even believe that changing the logo/brand name wipes away bad PR the company had before due to their own bad service.
