iOS 10.1 Developer Beta 3 Changes, Bugs, and Fixes

i don't think that a software update can fix it. i'm thinking that you have to take it back to apple for a replacement.
can't stand this lag on 7 PLUS oh my days when is beta 4 or GM coming if it doesn't fix it I'm done might even go back to 6S Plus

Another rotation bug.
iPad Air 2, no screen lock.
The thing is 'upside down' so the cable to charge is closer to the wall socket, and the earbuds plugged in, closer to where I sit.
The call drops, the other party their battery or network died, [ft failed] msg and the screen either stays locked upside down, the contact list is upside down. Or it flips from the right way for me, back to upside down.
I have to physically pick up the iPad, rotate it upside down, then back to where it was. To make the contacts list normal again for me.
If the call drops normally, not an issue. It's a persistent issue for me, at least for that device on 10.1 public beta

No one really knows. Fairly likely that it will be sometime within the next month or so.
If there isn't a new beta today then I want to say public release will be next week
With a few things pending, I'd say today is a great public beta day. Surely we will see a private beta first though.
Beta 4 coming today
i think this depends on when apple plans to release iOS 10.1 to everyone... if its in the next 2 weeks then no more betas.
so beta 4 today and then public release next week if they are planning a october release of iOS 10.1?
Yes. I'm assuming it will be out before 10/28. I am guessing that is when AirPods will launch with Nike Apple Watch.
i was kinda hoping for iOS 10.1 to be released to public today/tomorrow because i get my iPhone 7 tomorrow and would like it to be more stable then 10.0.2 currently is.
For me, 10.0.2 is way more stable than 10.1B3 was. I was on Beta 3 for less than 24 hours and experienced more issues and crashes than I have on 10.0.2 since the release of 10.0.2.
If no beta today, I definitely predict public release this week. But I still think sometime before the 28th next week.
apple probably has begun working on iOS 10.2 and will include what is still broken in iOS 10.0/10.1
The only animation 'issue' is the wallpaper animation when closing out an app, and for the 100th time, that is intentional and not a bug. It will never amaze me how much you go on and on about it. If it such a big issue, return the device.
The Safari keyboard bug is a real bug that effects day to day usage. A little animation that you don't like does not impact the way you use the device. Change your wallpaper to a black wallpaper and you will no longer notice it. Jayson A has confirmed that.
