Is the News app working very slowly, poorly for anyone? It's been very slow to load content in For You. Gets stuck "Checking for New Stories".
I have also had this issue since beta 6. Exact same issues. Reported to Apple via Bug Reporter. Not sure if beta 6 issue or server side issue. I use News a lot.

I'm glad it's not just me. I got neurotic and tried erase all settings, set up as new on my iPad. Tried flipping iCloud News toggle on several devices. Cleared News history, unfavorited/refavorited all sources/topics in News, cleared personalization. Did not work.

The issue could be with Subscriptions in News. Not sure though. Hopefully it's server-side and fixed soon! I use News a lot too!

It's definitely an issue with beta 6. I restored back to 10.2.1 and News is fine. I submitted a bug report on this.

Btw, does anyone know if it's possible to do a full install of 10.3 public beta 6 via iTunes? Is there a way to do this via Xcode? Although I'm a developer, I'm not currently an Apple developer!

Public Betas don't get an IPSW, but developer betas do. You'd need to get an IPSW, then you can restore through iTunes on a Mac if you have the latest Xcode beta and Xcode CLI Tools installed. Only works on Mac (because you need Xcode).

Sorry you are seeing this too.... but welcome to the Battery Drain Club

I guess you have been a victim of this issue too

Most assuredly.... Ever since I left 10.1.1 as best I can recollect.

Some of the betas after 10.2 have been terrible, altho this beta 6 seems slightly improved but maybe uts because I am using Airplane and low power modes more agressively.

Exactly as far as i remember it was all fine till ios 10.1 and than issue started with the 10.1.1 update that also bought incorrect battery percentage and random shutdown issues.
I am totally fed up with issue now and i m unsure whether this is an issue with iphone 6 only or other models as well coz i have seen only iphone 6 users complaining

Sounds like the batteries are starting to lose their capacity. Not unheard of if your phone is around 2 years old. Probably <80% capacity left.

I replaced my battery just last week and it really didn't impact the drain issue.

My wife's 6 with 10.1.1 purchased at same time as my 6 is wonderful !! I have asked her to NOT upgrade past 10.1.1 until we see some resolution to what I and others are experiencing.

1 issue with beta 6-- last night when i plugged into charger just before going to sleep-- it kept on waking up with a non-existent notification...i rebooted and no issues since..... weird since i updated to b6 on monday and this only happened tuesday night....

That doesn't seem to be the case,i could figure that out on my 3.5 year old iphone 5 running ios 10.1 and it seems to be lasting as long as it should but facing problems with my 2 year old iphone 6 and also battery indicator seems to be incorrect as i am getting a usage of 1 + hours on 1% battery, cannot really understand what actually the issue is and will replacing the battery resolve the issue which most likely seems to be not working for many

If you have a brand new battery, then that's obviously not the problem. My apologies.

Today, something strange happened.. I loved my battery life yesterday, but today from 8am to 12am drain 100-5%.
Device was Only connected to beats solo 3 and streamed some Music via spotify. Never happened before.

Activating power safe Mode and load to 50% solved this.

Battery screen Said 4hours usage. But nothing special in app Details

Could it be the charger? If I recall correctly, plugging in the charger wakes the screen, so if either the USB cable or wall plug is faulty, it may cause the constant waking.
Either that, or a rogue apps is bugging out, and causing notifications to appear and disappear quickly.
Or, in the most unlikely of circumstances, it's a system bug. In this case a cold reboot should solve the issue.

Similar things have been happening to me on beta 6. Phone randomly lights up as if I tapped the screen. Blank lock screen (blurred out everything) until I locked and rewoke the phone. All reported. iPhone 7 here.

+1 here ,tried beta 4 rolled back to 10.2.1 , beta 5 rolled back , beta 6 now rolling back , i checked with a friend and no rogue app was detected , hope the final 10.3 will be a fix . 5-6 hours of usage seems stupid , my dad's 5s lasts sometimes double .

Do you mean to say 10.2.1 is better than 10.3 beta 6 in terms of battery performance, if yes how much is the difference.

iPhone 6, iOS 10.2.1 Battery is fine. Battery drains occur, when a number of photos are uploaded to iCloud. Some weeks ago, hundreds of photos had been uploaded to iCloud. They were already their (iCloud). Don´t know what happened.
