Do you mean to say 10.2.1 is better than 10.3 beta 6 in terms of battery performance, if yes how much is the difference.
In 10.2.1 the drain is almost the same as beta 6 , but on beta 6 it drops for example from 42 to 38 after you used it 1 min ago . I dont even know whos better , i still hope even after so many rollvacks that my phone goes back to its originally state . Its 4 months old only

That means thats not battery wear issues on the older devices as you just have a 4 months old device and experiencing the same btw the screenshot you posted is from which ios version

This whole battery thing is paranoia over spending x price on the phone. I used to do this, then decided to just use my phone and haven't looked back since!

Empirically I've never had any kind of battery issues, staring at that % though, well...

iPhone 6: iOS 10.2, battery drain, horrible! iOS 10.2.1 everything is fine again.

Hey guys on iPhone 6s with 10.3 beta 6, I had just 2% battery drain overnight.
This beta is giving all different types of results to everyone.
many other factors like network, background apps , location, apps not compatible with 64 bit iOS may be giving different results.

Let's hope for the best on the GM.

This beta is murdering my 6s and 7+.

I've got location off, low brightness, no background refresh, I close out my apps when I'm done with them.

I'm losing about an hour and a half on this new beta with similar usage to previous beta. 6s and 7+ same results.

Today, something strange happened.. I loved my battery life yesterday, but today from 8am to 12am drain 100-5%.
Device was Only connected to beats solo 3 and streamed some Music via spotify. Never happened before.

Activating power safe Mode and load to 50% solved this.

Battery screen Said 4hours usage. But nothing special in app Details
Do you really mean 8am to 12am? That's 16 hours of use. Seems not out of the ordinary.

Nah, sry. In germany we dont got am and pm, so I am not used to it. 8-12 = 4hours
But you used "from 8am to 12am" in your original post about it all.

Bring back emoji selections using page by page selection as in iOS7.

iOS 10 continuously moving emoji selection completely strains my eyes as I swipe from left to right. In iOS 7 swipe and the next page is displayed and it remains static until swiping again. The continuous movement in iOS 10 is really bad design. The display can't refresh fast enough to make it appear static. Hurts my eyes, gives me a headache.

Please change this back Apple!

Too bad, Apple can't do that anymore. Your wish is denied. I'm sorry.

No. I am concerned though by your amount of emoji usage if it's enough to hurt your eyes and give you a headache. Apple may be to blame for that since they tried to shove emojis down our throats it seemed with iOS 10.
I certainly prefer the continuous scrolling they have currently.

Similar things have been happening to me on beta 6. Phone randomly lights up as if I tapped the screen. Blank lock screen (blurred out everything) until I locked and rewoke the phone. All reported. iPhone 7 here.

Are you sure the 'blank lock screen' is really the lockscreen? It could be a bug with the App Switcher, where a Home button press can solve it.

This may have been the case for a while now, but I just noticed that the stock Maps app still shows up under the Notifications section of the Settings menu, even after the Maps app has been deleted.

This isn't the case with the other stock apps that I've deleted...only Maps.

EDIT: never mind, I see that Games and FaceTime also show up under Notifications, despite having also been deleted. My bad.

Does anyone still have problem with lighting port and lighting EarPods on 7 Plus? When I plug EarPods and I call someone they don't hear me. I have to unplug and plug again EarPods to hear me. I face that problem since iOS 10. I install 10.3 hoping that problem should be fixed, but it did not. Any solutions?

Continuous scrolling means users can't see the emojis until it stops scrolling instead of a quick scroll and stop. It's a user interaction downgrade.

Actually Apple could rectify this. A quick swipe could result in a fast scroll and stop, whereas touch and drag swipe would result in continuous scrolling.

Both user interactions could easily be addressed.

I think this will remain as is.
