It's probably just your specific unit. You're literally the only one I've seen so far who has reported the bug. I haven't seen anyone else in this thread or the previous threads post a reply about them experiencing the home button bug.

Thank you.
But in the Beta 5 Thread i saw 2-3 other people who have the same problem. And in this Thread too. I dont think its just me.

WARNING: This was running absolutely fine for me - woke up this morning to messages to enter the Apple ID password. Phone became unresponsive. It's now in need of a full restart (part-bricked). Getting pink screens, constant hang ups and phone is generally completely unsable!

Something just became seriously corrupted. I'll report back if I'm able to successfully DFU Restore. I wasn't even able to access settings to do a reset of settings!

I've been having similar problems all day since i updated to beta 6 last night. here is the list

incoming calls, phone not ringing, slide to unlock would answer the call but no sound

hanging up a call would not hang up, green call bar active (hard reset again)

wifi signal completely absent from menu bar (hard reset, settings app then completely unresponsive)

would dial a call, phone would hang & then freeze

honestly, i've hard reseted or powered off the phone at least 30 times today. the last four hours, the phone has been good as gold...

i've been on the beta train since ios7, with 4/4S/5S/6, never had the above issues with any beta apart from this one and beta5.

i'm not a developer, just an Apple "nutter" since 1998, fully aware of betas and their "issues", i'm just stating my experience from the last two betas.

Sounds unsettling; sorry you guys are having trouble. Basically all 10.3 betas have been a dream for me.

They have all been great for me too and I've been on all of them since beta 2. This was was like butter until I woke this morning. Initially started by Spotify crashing and since then it's been fully restarting, hanging and even giving me purple screens and then selecting the Settings app even made the app icon disappear completely. Totally corrupt. Now struggling to get it to go into DFU mode... permanent Apple logo at the moment....

This is the iPhone 6S. iPad Air still fine.

This definitely won't be the last beta! I suspect this is a file system issue, because this is a fatal issue. It's causing FULL restarts and then permanent apple logos without being able to recover at all.

In all my testing of betas, I've never seen anything like this!

EDIT: Finally hit DFU mode - restoring back to 10.2.1 (looks like it's going ok)

Hmmm.. Yeah, I have an SE and Mini 4 and they’ve been basically perfect.

Good luck to you both.

Wow, that's not good. I hope you guys get your issues resolved.

I have not had any issues with any of the 10.2 or 10.3 betas, but I guess they can crop up due to the nature of the beast. I hope you reported this to apple. For me beta 6 is wonderful as apple seems to be ironing out the rough edges of the previous betas.

I've reported every bug I've spotted so far. I'll do so once I'm back up and running. I wasn't able to even open the Feedback App let alone Settings, so the diagnostic files won't be available.

It's really worrying that something can be completely fine, then hit a terminal problem and require a full restore. I'm not whinging - it's a beta afterall as this is a place to discuss these issues. But I hope Apple can solve this.

New filesystems are just about one of the most callenging programming tasks there are besides operating systems and kernels (which is why new ones only crop up very rarely). So let's hope it was as a result of the many beta delta upgrades. Here's hoping a clean install of 10.3 is all it takes to solve the issue for good. I'm upgrading from 10.2.1 now and will do an iCloud restore (yes, I really have to - the pain to install and setup apps from scratch is just too painful).

The most annoying thing about restoring is the Google Authenticator App having no backups. This is a huge pain of 2FA, for which I have around 15 various accounts (being a developer...).
[doublepost=1489513194][/doublepost]Btw, does anyone know if it's possible to do a full install of 10.3 public beta 6 via iTunes? Is there a way to do this via Xcode? Although I'm a developer, I'm not currently an Apple developer!

Do you have an itunes backup of 10.3b6 that you can restore from?

I didn't think you could revert back to 10.2.1 because of the Apple Filesystem change...

I had a few bugs that's popped up. Initially after first installing the beta. Any phone call would fail after being on the phone for 3 minutes.

This morning, I did get the iTunes password pop up like 5x. But that's gone.

Safari white screen is back

7 Plus. This is with a few hours of streaming from Spotify over 4G.

I reverted back fine in DFU mode but then found the 10.3 beta 6 ipsw, so did an iTunes restore with that. Restoring from iCloud now. Looking good so far.

My woes started with the iTunes popup but there were also multiple pop-ups for mail and calendar account too - I think it got stuck in a weird look. Hitting either settings or 'OK' just did nothing as the phone was in a mess. Completely locked up to the point I couldn't even open apps. Felt like the CPU was running at 1% clock speed or something. The purple 'tint' the phone just sang the word 'corrupt filesystem' to me. I initially thought I bust my screen, but the hardware seems fine and the restore seems ok.

I must be an edge case. I do have 300+ Apps including around 20 32bit apps. I'm a heavy user at best.

EDIT: Issue reported.

Andddd another bug. Playing videos on youtube through bluetooth in my car yields no sound after a few videos. Meaning, no sound from any app plays through the speakers. Wonder if this has something to do with the alarm bug

Maybe this crash was a 3rd party critical bug due to incompatibility since iOS from Apple seems so stable

Still fees sluggish overall on my iPhone 6 especially on certain third party apps like Messenger, which may be normal at this point?

Stable when it works, yes. After what happened to me, I'd probably recommend everyone do a fresh install of 10.3, especially those of you doing incremental OTA beta updates.

At least then there is will be no conversation to APPS and all your apps will have natively been installed to APPS from day one. I've lost confidence after what happened to me this morning, but I'm sure Apple will have 10.3 nailed when it's prime time. It's a shame as it was running as smooth as butter from beta 5.

Is the News app working very slowly, poorly for anyone? It's been very slow to load content in For You. Gets stuck "Checking for New Stories".

It'd be great if battery life screenshots could include the top portion of the app list so we know where the majority of the time was spent in order to accurately interpret the battery life.
agreed. people should use Tailor, like so

Daily reminders do not actually remind me. When i check the app it jumped to the next day to remind me on its own. Also reminders do not seem to sync. Like they appear but do not appear as "done" on my other devices after i click "done" on either one of them.

Another thing and I am not sure it relates to wifi calling but i have the same number on two devices (multi sim) and when both my iPhones and my iPad ring, the call will just fail when i try to pick it up on my iPhone yet continues to ring on my iPad
