A post about emojis AND gender equality?? Not sure if MacRumors can handle this yet.
Why are people on MacRumors so triggered about adding more emojis? Stop being so sensitive middle-aged guys!
I'm a little upset there are still no pro-sharia emoji, like a rajm emoticon, or niqab, or throwing homosexuals off a tall building. I hope Apple isn't being Islamophobic

I believe he means the basic yellow smileys, which don't have any implicit gender.

I'll bet that this October we have a "Back to the Mac" event where all they talk about is how the new Special Character panel now includes a Transgender bathroom symbol. They'll have Johny Ive who talks about how he wanted to convey that a Transgender person was going to sit on an Aluminum seat in a bathroom through the icon. They have pointless CGI showing the symbol being put together. They'll talk about how slim and revolutionary the icon is (only 2D!) How lightweight the icon is.
That's all. The holiday lineup. Same exact computers from 2 years ago, but now with a Transgender bathroom symbol available. Thanks so much. We'll see you all next March, when we have new watch bands for the same old Apple Watch from 3 years ago.
